Amazing food! Great service! And the Blue special was beyond worth it. I picked up fried chicken steak, sweet potato mash, and Brussels sprouts! Try it and tell me I'm wrong! Eric gave nothing less than stellar service! ❤️
I went here with a few of my family members and we had a fantastic time. The staff is incredible friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing. Everyone in my party was very pleased with the food and service. I got the blackened Cajun chicken wrap and man was it good. All the ingredients seemed very
Had such a considerate server. Told them I was stopping on my long drive and he made sure to get the food & bill quickly. They were turning out delicious food super quickly regardless (pick-ups and all) but really appreciated the gesture from start to finish. Food was delicious! Ambiance was very ni
I love The Hill Cafe in historic Church Hill. I have eaten there many times while working on Historic Houses in Richmond. The food is always delicious, the service is always excellent and attentive, and the atmosphere is always cozy and friendly. I really like walking to this restaurant. There i
My wife and I dine here on a pretty regular basis. Food is always very good and I love the atmosphere it offers of a local Church hill neighborhood cozy bar/pub. Pictured are the Brussels sprouts off their appetizer menu. Very good and a very healthy potion offered. As regulars we highly recommend t
Great food and excellent service! My only complaint was a really loud dog at the next table, but we did choose to sit outside, so not the restaurant's fault.
The food was amazing! Especially mashed potatoes is just wow! If you would like to have some great food, try this place.
Very nice neighborhood bar & restaurant! Blue Plate 🍽 specials before 6 pm. Good service, good food, but it is small, so prepare for a wait in prime time. Had the special, panko fried Pork Chop w/ mashed Sweet Potato and Green Beans, YUM! 😋 Also got a side of Spoon 🥄 Bread 😍 Can't get much more So
Top favorite place in Richmond! My wife and I eat here often and tell everyone we know about it. Lots of great specials. Love the atmosphere and feel of the place. There is some outdoor seating as well. Not the best for really big parties but they are super accommodating with helping you and your pa
-after a trip to the Jefferson Park to take sunset photos, we decided to stop by the Hill Cafe for dinner since it was close to the park. We enjoyed a delicious meal...shrimp and grits with a very generous amount of bacon pieces. My friend said they were the best ever. I ordered the fried oysters en
Hometown Richmond fare at reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and efficient. I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and braised collards with the house red wine. Followed by lemon cream cake. My friend had the southern fried pork chop with mashed potatoes and green beans followed by the chocol
A very laid-back vibe matches the dimly lit, dark wood interior. Service was on point and the food was good. My fried green tomato BLT was nicely enhanced with the spicy aioli the server recommended and my dining partner's burger was also well-executed and satisfying. Overall, nicely prepared clas
Super cute place on Church Hill. Pretty small inside, but cool vibe. Terrific service. Fun menu with sammys, vegie options and tasty affordable entrees. Get the adult limeade!
Every time I visit Richmond I try to dine here. Great ambiance that goes very well with the bar and menu selection. This time I ordered the Meatloaf accompanied with Sweet Potato puree and Brussels Sprout; great choice! For dessert the warm pecan with whipped cream was yummy. I hope to someday try
This is one of the best places I’ve eaten around. The service was decent and the food rocked. Fulfilled my expectations with the shrimp pasta paired with their house wine. The lighting and atmosphere is what I look for in good restaurants and this checked both!
We came to visit this place and it was such a pleasant experience! As a party of two, we were able to snag one of the few tables open for Sunday around brunch. We had the breakfast burrito and fried green tomato benedict (side salad w radishes and quinao) they were SO tasty, for a reasonable price,
Came here twice in the past week while looking at properties in Church Hill. Food came out extremely fast for such a quality restaurant and was delicious. My wife got the fried green tomato BLT with pimento cheese with sweet potatoes fries and loved it. I had the redneck Benedict and it was also fan
