Awesome burger. Usually a normal burger and fries from almost anywhere doesn't fill me up but I was extremely full after eating that here. And super tasty. Best burger in the area!!

Burger Heaven. Being such a miserable day I didn't want to stay at home and just watch the rain. I wanted to experience it. What a better way to do that but to go out to lunch and get a burger at a place I had seen several times but was reluctant to try. What a mistake! I went ahead and followed the other reviewers suggestions and drove to Rhome, Texas and tried Giant Burger's Giant Cheeseburger. While the toasted bun was large, the behemoth hamburger patty was even larger, extending beyond the bun. There was no way you could have taken a bite of the burger without biting into some meat. The burger is juicy enough, and you have your choice of toppings along with mustard and/or mayo. I ordered the works--tomato, onions, pickle, lettuce in addition to jalapenoes. I wanted to substitute onion rings for fries but was unable to today because they were waiting for a part for their second fryer. The owner apologized and said that they were only frying fries in the other fryer. That was okay with me. The fries were slightly crisp and were fine but nothing special--especially compared to the burger. The lettuce was shredded which is not my favorite because it normally ends up on my clothes but I guess since the burger was so enormous, it just clinged to the meat. Fountain drinks are refillable. There are other options such as burritos as well as different types of sandwiches. The sandwiches are wrapped and kept under heat lamps. They also serve breakfast.

There was a line when I entered the place, mostly oilfield workers, linemen etc. I thought the line would move fairly fast. It did take about 15 minutes to get my meal but that was not the norm. A number of people had ordered ahead of time for themselves and their co-workers so the kitchen had to make those burgers first. I watched as several people had five or six bags of burgers to go. So that was why the wait was so long. After that the wait was five or six minutes per order, if that long.

Giant Burger is situated in an adjoining travel shop/truck stop so you can even get your gas there. It's like the best of all worlds. I will be returning often.

This is another gem in wise county. The burgers NEVER disappoint! They are always fresh, and huge!!! If you get a double meat and cheese, forget about eating for the rest of the day. My family loves it.

I would recommend this burger joint over any fast food drive thru. This is not the best 5☆ burger you can get, but it is homestyle, juicy and delicious. They give you enough food that you can finish it all and almost be fat full, but not that guilty full. It's a great meal and a good thing I love 70 miles away or else I would be here everyday. Recommend!

Hamburgers are made the old fashioned way and are delicious. The catfish is also good. The fries are good and greasy. Highly recommended burger joint

Giant burger was good for a gas station restaurant. Big burgers, decent prices. Friendly helpful staff. I would go again.
