First off, the red wine (Blackwood?) was spectacular and the fish was fresh and actually melted in my mouth. Order the chef special. You won’t be disappointed. This Sushi restaurant is as good as it gets. It also helped that the ambiance was quiet and romantic. Beside the windowsill is our table permanently awaiting us.

Just one of the best bento boxes you can find! It's about $15, yet very well worth it. It's actually quite a large portion size and well balanced with delicious tempora shrimp and/or veggies, signature rolls, rice, protein of choice, salad, and of course, a SUPER flavorful miso soup.
They have a great variety of fresh sushi rolls as well. But really, if you're coming for lunch, get one of their bento boxes.. you'll love it!

I think I've been going to too many sushi buffets thinking the food is good. Actually sushi buffet food is poison compared to what Obi Sushi Japanese Bistro serves. Granted, Obi Sushi isn't a buffet & I shouldn't making the comparison but Obi Sushi set me straight.

Had a great time out with my friends! I have a shellfishallergy, and this is one of the only sushi places I've been to where I didn't even get mildly cross-contaminated!! Food was good, and only docking 1 star because the service wasn't the most friendly.

I don't know why this place is so underrated. I've been going there since the day it got open. The food is always great, the service is friendly. The price is very good for the variety of fish they have - try Sashimi Dinner Deluxe. Also fresh wasabi is a rare find (and they always have it!) - it's a must with a dish like that.

The service was great, and sushi was pretty good. I sat at the sushi bar and was served quickly. The food tasted fresh, but wasn't thrilled with the spicy tuna in one of my rolls.

Open late and not far from our hotel. Good selection, comfortable atmosphere. We enjoyed a nice dinner. Mushroom miso was an exciting find for my boyfriend.

I go all the time - the servers have always been friendly, and the udon is fantastic. The few times I've had room for sushi, it's been good, but the highlight for me is the tempura udon. The dashi is fantastic.

Been going there for years. The sushi is better quality than any other sushi place in the area (and we've tried them all.) No idea why places in, Vienna for example, have higher ratings when the sushi cuts there are clearly less fresh and frankly thinner that Obi Sushi.
Oh and just to be clear, we're picky. If there is one thing my wife and I don't like at Obi, it is the sweet items on the menu could be less sweet - like the dressing on the side salads that come with entree orders.

Perfectly good if you go for the buffet and expect discount quality. Fish is always good quality, but the rolls are sloppy and the amount of fish is small. I've never had anything other than the buffet.
