Best beer I've had in a very long time and I'm not even a beer drinker. The local breweries have nothing on this place. Oh, and their bratwurst plates were quite tasty as well. Their portions for those plates were surprisingly generous.
I've been eating and drinking here for a few years now. After living in Germany this past 15 months, I must tell you that this place is a gem taken right out of that country. Beer is what it is-good and imported. But the food-I swear every single component of each plate about what is popular there, what is wholesome about the traditional recipes; its spot on delicous. Yeah, the naysayers will always claim that "x" doesnt taste like their Opa's before she immigrated. It's not going to taste exactly as they remember. It rarely will because it is a restaurant afterall. I'm just saying whoever made this place, did a dang good job.
Great pub, servers and managers are nice and helpful. Cold beer and hot meals. Sausage meals a great we tried the Bockwurst (pork and veil sausage) and some wings. Chips are seasoned with sugar instead of salt, which plays nicely with the savory meal. Greatly recommend this spot.
Great German restaurant, and good beer selection. I got the jaeger schnitzel. Really good, I recommend this one over the regular Wiener schnitzel, because it needs some sort of sauce on top of the breaded pork. Just the right amount of food, maybe a little bit too much. Very fast and good kitchen. I’d certainly go back if I was in the area.
Very cozy German pub. Food is not that authentic but close. I liked their ambience and the friendly service. Food was delicious and delivered quickly after ordered. Thank you for the great experience. I'll see you next time.
I thought this place was pretty good. Good sausages and German style food with kraut. Really takes you where it's trying to go. I don't think it's a bad value for what they're offering. I would definitely go here again if I was in the area.
Great spot. Friendly service. Awesome beer list. The pretzel is killer. And good happy hour too. Only note is the bathroom needs some work. But the restaurant and bar are great. I’d imagine an epic spot to watch a game too
Great traditional German food in a fun and lively atmosphere. The service was good and the staff was very friendly. I went there for a birthday party. There was live music. Everyone was having a great time without exception.
The place is busy. I would get reservations if I were you.
Another fantastic stop on my recent business trip. The bartender was very nice and I felt welcomed rather then rushed or ignored. I love a good bar feeling, especially when I'm alone on business trips. The food was great and I loved the on tap kostritzer, not something I can get at my local bar.
Great food--servers know their dishes--fun environment. Music is loud, but that's pretty normal. Got to have the Pretzel!! Giant, warm, soft, salty, with cheese soup to dip. Yummy 😁
