We got the #1 and #2 combos, the double cheeseburger and a single cheeseburger with their famous shoestring French fries at the South Meadows location.
Both burgers were perfectly hand-patted and were spot on delicious, juicy, and piping hot! French fries were hot, crispy, and yummy! Ice-cold, refreshing Diet Coke washed it all down nicely!
Sure wished they had a shady spot outside, like a couple trees or an awning. (We ate in the jeep.) Five Stars, nonetheless! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍

Drive thru only these days, but there is outdoor seating if you don't want to sit on your car. Staff was friendly and food was good.

Worst experience with a steak and shake in a long time. Asked for a Royal burger no bun. Got a Royal burger with a bun and large chunks of egg shells.

First time eating at this place. Ordered a garlic burger. It was very oily and salty! Fries were ok. Best part of the meal was the Snickers shake. I prefer In N Out, and still do.

Most disappointing in Reno. Was curious about franchise. Now I know, bad experience. Will never return. Drive thru service only. Service lousy. Food served cold. Reheated burger. Warm skake.

Stopped in for a quick lunch on the way to RNO. It was drive through only. Ordered a double steak with bacon. I received a single and had to go back through the drive-thru. Both times through the girl working the drive-thru was completely rude and I was nice the whole time. She acted as if she was put out. Horrible customer service and the food was sub par.

Definitely not a good experience unfortunately. I stopped in to grab a couple of shakes for myself and my husband. The customer in front of me at the drive-thru was waiting for probably 5 minutes. I ended up waiting for about the same. As far as I can tell they ordered shakes as well. I'm honestly not sure what took so long.
When I got to the window the employee was punching things in on the screen and taking an order I'm assuming for the customer at the drive-through speaker. She didn't acknowledge me at all. she then walked away from the computer and over to a table or something against the wall but I couldn't really see because there was a large poster on the left side of the drive thru window.
There were two other employees there at the time. Both of whom I watched just stand there for a couple of minutes doing what appeared to be nothing. When the drive-thru attendant did actually open the window to speak to me she barked my total at me and extended her arm for payment. She didn't bother with any casual greeting or formalities. She took my card and charged it. Handed me back my card and basically said nothing else.
I than sat in the Drive-Thru for, to me, what seemed like a long time. While I was sitting there I noticed that the entire drive-thru window both inside and out are greasy, slimy and just generally dirty. The windows had clearly not been cleaned probably all day.
Inside the restaurant there were fries on the ground that were being shoved underneath a counter and other surfaces nearby. There was also a partially torn Styrofoam cup on the ground, a plastic wrapper, and some other piece of paper and Miscellaneous trash.
It was clear that the floor had not been swept in at least a small amount of time. There were two employees that had been standing around I'm not sure why they hadn't been doing some minor sweeping in between tasks that they needed to complete.
All in all between the less than satisfactory cleanliness of the store itself and the rudeness of the staff, not really a visit that makes me want to come back.
I am a huge person on respect and just politeness in general. And I think when the first thing out of an employee's mouth is your total and not hey how's it going or some other casual greeting, it just rubs me the wrong way to start.
Definitely not satisfied. The manager may want to consider retraining staff and making sure that cleanliness is a higher priority. Honestly if the health inspector had come in they probably would have gotten dinged for the cleanliness of the store.
