Dee's Bakery & Cafe

The service here was great but that's about it. The " fresh brewed" coffee was basically brown hot water and I ordered the biscuits with gravy and was very disappointed. This is a bakery and my biscuit was microwaved and chewy , and the gravy had no flavor. I did not even attempt to try a pastry, the pastries at our local grocery store look more appetizing . My spouse ordered a breakfast burrito and there was a big sausage that looked like a Jimmy Dean microwaved sausage. This was our first time here but will not be going back.

I've become a regular at this place. The menu is small but everything is just so delicious, and I've never had anything I wouldn't order again. The homemade potato salad is really good and their fruit cup is great - not just melon and grapes. Regarding their baked goods, they are fantastic! The red velvet cupcakes are a favorite of mine, but everything I've sampled is top notch.

Ordered our wedding cake & catered items. Dee and her staff are very helpful and nice. According to our guests the lunch meats were leathery. The top layer of the cake was hard. Seemed to be frozen. The wedding cake design was terrible. It looked like very little effort was put into the design. It didn't look like a wedding cake. My maid of honor & myself took a lot of input from Dee regarding the design of the cake. It was a small cake and I paid over $300. Definitely was not what we were expecting.

This was our first time ordering from this bakery and last. We went there for my Son's birthday cake. Way overpriced cake!!! for what we ended up gettin, I don't recommend this bakery to anybody, you can find a way better place and with better customer service. The people working there will look lost and will look bothered if you ask them about pastries coffee etc. or pay for your things. NEVER NEVER GOING AGAIN.

The Best Kept Secret in Reno! This is our favorite place for pastries, cakes, cupcakes, cookies and other delicious goodies. The owners are Top Notch and the friendliest folks around, in addition to being the hardest working! We recommend ALL of the baked goods - you can't go wrong with Dee's. It was probably a bit over a year ago we discovered Dee's for breakfast using a Groupon. While there, I discovered they do lunch as well. Since then, I've brought many clients to Dee's for lunch, and they want to come back when they are in town. One out-of-town client always says, "Are we going to Dee's for lunch??" I highly recommend the Tri-Tip sandwich if you are there for lunch. Make sure you get on their email list, and you'll be the recipient of special invitations, coupons and know what sandwiches are being featured. Five Stars - no doubt!
