This place is a hidden gem!!! The food was excellent, the service great. Stop in for lunch you won’t regret it!

This place was pretty cute, the food looked really good. I got the fajitas with chicken and carne asada and the asada 90% fat. I also asked multiple servers for sour cream and lettuce and got it after about 10-15 mins waiting.

One of the better Mexican food restaurants in the Reno-Sparks area. Great service from anyone that passed our table. Great food options. Vegan and plant based selections are good but may have to get a little creative but not to much. The staff is very patient and helpful. Thanks

Excellent food. We drive from Tahoe just to eat here. Lots of different recipe variations on the staples of Mexican food. Great selection of seafood items as well. Highly recommend this restaurant will not disappoint.

I've come back to edit my review because the staff were super sweet and the food was good... But unfortunately because their phone wasn't working we had to wait around for nearly 20 minutes... Which I had tried to call in an avoid. Additionally when I got my food they weren't sure if my order was all there, couldn't find it in the que, and we spent another five minutes trying to figure that all out... The foods good but unless you're planning to sit in I'd avoid trying to do take out.

The food was very good. Service was a bit slow, brought our table of 5 food out at different times. We could come back.

The service was great! The food was pretty good, but personally I like Miguel's better, but I was surprised at the quality of the food and it's a great deal for the price as well. I also had a guava margarita and it was THE BEST margarita I've ever had. Highly recommend!!

The food is amazing. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired. Plan on waiting to be seated in about 30-1hr on a Friday night and wait about 20mins for your drinks to arrive. The live band on the weekends is way too loud for such a small place. But with all that said the food is worth it.

I've eaten at this restaurant 3 times now and have yet to be disappointed. The food is authentic Mexican cuisine & the margaritas are refreshing. They have a beautiful patio which is the perfect spot to dine on a summer evening. The staff is all very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this place.

So, this was the second time in a row that Taco Jalisco let me down. A few weeks ago my husband and I went, he ordered fajitas (his usual), I ordered carnitas, well the carnitas arrived very dry, I complained and the waitress apologized and walked away. I didn't eat it but of course they still charged me, even though it was barely touched. Tonight we thought we'd try it again and waited at least 45 minutes for our order. Husband ordered fajitas again, I decided to order the 3 taco meal. His was fine but my beans & rice were cold, told the waitress and she offered to warm it, I thought I'd check the tacos before agreeing and luckily I did because they were very cold. She told me she'd warm them but then decided she'd just get a new plate. Well hubby continued eating while his was still hot, 15 minutes later she arrived with a plate (looked like the same helpings I sent back). I told her to keep it as my husband was finished eating and I'd lost my appetite at this point. Paid the $20 bill with no tip and went to Jack in the Box where my food was piping hot! It'll be a LONG time before we return. Oh! And their excuse was that they had had a large party of 10. To me that's no excuse, just because you have a party of 10 your party of 2 have to suffer with cold food and very poor service. You're in the restaurant business you should be able to cater to all of your patrons without compromising quality or service! It really shouldn't take 45+ minutes to prepare 3 tacos, rice, and beans!

This place has gone completely down hill. I used to go here every week but after being ignored by my server and waiting over an hour for literally only rice and beans, I will NEVER go back.

Been here multiple times this was by far the worse. Service was horrible waited 20plus min to get water, finally ordered and that took atleast 40min when food came we didn’t even have silverware to eat with. And the tortillas that were supposed to come with my meal came at the end of our meal when already done.

The food was only acceptable. Nothing special. Service was a bit slow. However due to how they find the need to accommodate the dive bar next door instead of paying customers, I will not go back. There is no place to park because they allow the rednecks from the bar to overtake their parking lot. But if they believe it's more important to be nice to the neighbors instead of the customers, I won't return.

They finally had chili rellenos last night, but it tasted like it was a frozen one. We ordered La Patron's and there was no Almendrado in it AGAIN. This time the excuse was that they were using a different brand. Last time despite telling us they put it in the bar tender then came to the table to tell us they didn't have any. At least the service was good. Very disappointing as we have been going there for some time now and really enjoyed it, but it has gone back to the way it was when they first opened. Would not recommend any longer.

It was the best Mexican food I'd ever had. I suggest trying the armadillo molcajete and mango/tequila slushie beverage (forgot the name of it) as well!

Worst service I’ve ever had, not kinging... I have been here and hour and a half and still no god damn food or asked if I needed another beer

The waitress was super friendly, the food was great, and it was served in a reasonable amount. Loved the atmosphere.

My husband and I tried this place for the first time. We went on Saturday night, the food was great but a bit salty. The love band was great but a bit loud. We will go back on a night when the band is not there.

I was there today with my family, I am very disappointed because we were sitting there for 20 minutes and nobody came over to offer us at least a drink. We left with out having dinner as we walk out nobody came over to ask us what happened. So I complaint to the “manager” and she was rude as well. I will not recommend anybody to come.

Love this place! Been eating at this families place for 20 years. Great food and Tony makes a killer chelada!

I liked the burrito. Just a suggestion, I think there was a bit too much salt in the meat, but the rest, the beans and cheese were fine. My wife loved the shrimp tacos, actually came with enough shrimp ! The chips in the beginning were cold. I can live iwth that, but really do like hot chips. I'm happy (just putting the suggestions out there).

Food was good. The temperature of the food was just right. Service was friendly. Only had to wait for a drink for one of us. I would go again
