A cozy restaurant that serves delicious food. It's one of our usual go to spot for dinner. They start us off with some rolls and this delicious sauce right when we're seated. We usually start off with the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer, one of my favorites. For our entrees, it usually depends on what we're craving, sometimes seafood, sometimes steak. They served generous portions, so we always had something to take home with us. For dessert, we always get our usual flan. I would suggest making reservations because they're usually busy. During warmer weather, they do have a nice outdoors seating area.
Absolutely amazing food!!! Service is outstanding The best Portuguese food in the area. The Paiella is a great dish. The Portuguese Steak and the Shrimp Mozambique is the best I ever had. The seafood rice is absolutely legendary. Probably every dish you order you won't be disappointed. Even the rolls are amazing.
First time here on a recommendation from a friend, I enjoyed my meal and service here for sure and would definetly come back and give this place another try.
My gripe with the place would be the "signature Mozambique sauce" although I did still think it was good it's really loaded with garlic and seasonings and comes as a borderline paste. I thought well maybe it was just the free sauce they issue but the shrimp Mozambique came out the same. Alot of flavor but for me in my opinion for what it's worth tasted good but not for me and the waitress didn't offer us any desserts or additional drinks the bill just casually showed up and probably missed out on a few more drinks. That's my John Taffer rule, close out the table before I'm done well now I'm done.
Other then that I really enjoyed my experience and recommend enjoying this place I wanted to give it 3 an a half stars but 4 is safe. Food is pretty good.
Cat, our server was so delightful and just so nice. Our food could not have been better. Chicken fingers are to die for. But the prime rib was INCREDIBLY good. Prime rib was so huge check out the pic. Thanks Cat for a great experience.
First time I’ve been here and plan on making it a regular spot. Staff was amazing, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. When we asked how the different dishes were prepared they were spot on like they were making the dinners themselves. Talk about bang for your buck. Starting with the drinks. My wife and I both had martinis the side car contained more than the serving glass, it was a 3 for 1. Cup of kale soup ( best ever) was a bowl. Can’t imagine how big the bowl is, probably a bucket. Portuguese steak was cooked to perfection just like I wanted. Rice with scallops and shrimp omg. Potatoes on point and the Faiale sauce for the top yumm. Wifey had same rice and potatoes with 2 thick bone in pork chops cooked to such perfection she used a butter knife to cut it. So much food we only ate half. Oh yeah awesome stuffies. Can’t wait to return.
Great food at a very reasonable price. The portions are large so you will probably have to take a doggy bag home. They very accommodating with switching out starches for a vegetable or salad. The food has a Portuguese influence. There is off street parking and an outside patio for the warmer months. Definitely worth checking out.
We love coming here! It feels like a local hangout, everyone knows everyone and an overall happy place. It's very busy, wait staff are always hopping and are very attentive and the food is very good. Good prime rib, fish dishes are cooked to perfection and portions are generous. We recommend making reservations ahead of time as you could have a long wait without it.
Very busy but excellent friendly service, food and cocktails. Large portions of everything.
