Definitely make this a stop while in Rehoboth. Had a wonderful brunch, the bartender/server was super kind, helpful, and made great drinks. The Easter Benedict was really good (only thing is I'd put half the amount of hollandaise sauce on top) the drinks were great. I personally did the bottle mimosa for myself 😆 🤣 . I highly recommend coming here. Thank you for the hospitality, we will be back.

On MLK Day Monday 2022, my wife, four-year-old daughter and I went to Egg thanks to a good rating on Yelp. We went around 10 a.m. and were seated right away. (When we left around 11 a.m., there was a long line to get in!) Here's our experience: 1) Food: The menu is large and diverse (including a dish with quail eggs). I ordered the stuffed poblano pepper (with scrambled eggs, cheese and chorizo). My daughter had the pancakes and my wife Eggs Benedict. None of it stood out as out of this world, but it was decent basic breakfast. However, the siracha candy bacon was unique and GREAT! 2) Service: It was hit or miss. Our server was not friendly at all. In fact, my wife and I wondered if we had unknowingly offended her by wearing masks or something else. She ignored our table, responded extra slowly when our daughter accidentally spilled her orange juice, brought us a wrong order and responded to our four-year-old's comments with coldness. However, the other staff were super friendly! Our four-year-old daughter talked to a few other staff who got down to her level and had a full conversation with her. So nice! 3) Space: It's inside an old market and very cozy with booth, table and bar seating. Murals of roosters and photographs of the old market hang on the walls. There's a small outdoor patio with heaters, but for some reason it was closed when we went.

Lovely place with great service, front door and wait staff. The food we ordered was really good. We got an assorted for our table of four and tasted each others food. Hands down the best item was the pecan crusted French toast. It was amazing! Rich but we only order one slice and split it up, so it was perfect. Other things we ordered were Cream Chipped Beef over cornbread (Pap's SOS), buttermilk pancakes, sausage links, candied sriracha bacon, turkey sausage links, and shrimp & grits. The shrimp & grits were good, but not typical. It was more gravy and grits with shrimp but still tasty. For drinks, we got the Bloody Mary and Breakfast Margarita. The margarita was really good and the bloody mary was solid with some delicious bacon, shrimp, and tomato on top.

I’m still chewing as I write this because I couldn’t wait to give it five stars. I’m coming back tomorrow. The gravy on the biscuits and gravy is extremely flavorful - sage forward with creamy texture but not too milky over a semi-sweet honey glazed biscuit. The pumpkin pecan French toast is one of the better breakfast dishes I’ve had and also maybe one of the better desserts at the same time? Everyone I talked to in Rehoboth said this was the place to be and they are CORRECT. Also special thanks to Hunter who helped me with my indecision by offering to make half-portions of two different dishes 👍

Not recommended - ordered the peanut butter french toast and found a full length twist tie inside my toast... how in the world could this even happen? If you're spreading peanut butter on two slices of bread, it would be clear as day (the twist tie was on the inside) - gross. Makes you wonder about the rest of the food and the care (or lack there of) of the kitchen staff. Worst part is after I pointed it out, the staff seemed to think it was a big deal that they 'removed it from my bill' LOL, I didn't take a bite, so removing it was no gesture at all. The manager/owner didn't even bother to stop over to our table... they really just didn't care. Theynahad ample opportunity to make this right...so many other places in town...
