Don’t let the understated exterior fool you. This restaraunt is top shelf in every way. Elegant yet relaxing environment. Top shelf service and five star food. Lobster stuffed black ravioli is heaven. Dinner was over the top decadent. Filet mingion and crab imperial stuffed lobster tail. Really enough for two. Must have the creme brûlée cheesecake. Never had anything like it! Have traveled the world. One of my best meals!
We had a party of 7. My husband planned this dinner for my birthday. He had requested a special appetizer that was not on the menu and the management team and chef called him to let him know that they would be able to it for us. Our server was Tamara, she was by far outstanding with her customer service. Tom made it a point to visit our table twice throughout the evening to check on presentation of the special made appetizer, which was out of this world delicious. The food was delicious and melted in your mouth. I highly recommend this restaurant. Excellent food, service and atmosphere.
I had my rehearsal dinner at 1776 and could not have dreamed of a better dinner! The food is amazing and the staff is kind, caring, and fantastic to work with. I highly recommend 1776 for happy hour, dinner, or, if you’re lucky enough to get married at the beach, a rehearsal dinner!
Loved this place...food, staff & ambiance was simply Amazing! The steak was delicious & I especially loved the various options....we will definitely be back when visiting the area...if your in the Ocean City Beach area its definitely worth the drive....you will not be disappointed PS The food is so good, I would not suggest showing up without a reservation Enjoy! I love this place! The food is always excellent, regardless of what you order. Tom and his staff are always welcoming, friendly, and professional, and the service is attentive, but not intrusive. It’s by far the best steak house in town. I eat there often, and highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful dinner, with attentive service in a private room for my mother's birthday. A lovely experience from the delicious food to the varied wine menu. I highly recommend this restaurant and will go back as soon as I can.

The food is amazing and the service was outstanding. Best steak we’ve had in awhile and it was cooked to perfection. Also dessert was the best. Try the banana cream pie. We’ll definitely be back.
The waiter ( I believe his name was Paul) was just great! He was knowledge about EVERYTHING, humorous, and kind. The ambiance was delightful and classy. Christmas decorations were beautiful with 3 or 4 Christmas trees throughout. It was a little noisy, but there were quite a few bigger parties there, so understandable. It was my mom's 80th birthday, so she got a free cheesecake/creme brulee dessert with a candle. The waiter started us off in singing Happy Birthday, and some of the other tables even joined in. Not a problem unwrapping the presents right there at the table. The food was upscale and delicious. $366.50 for all 9 of us. All in all, a wonderful experience. I took pics, but no option to post, sorry.

Was there on Thursday with my wife and 2 kids. Been going for years and it never disappoints, just gets better. Tom, John and the whole staff are fantastic and make you feel like family. The food ( everything. Not just the steaks ) is second to none.
Terrific food and service on Saturday, May 12, 2018! Our server Alex was quick to provide an expertly crafted martini and perfect Manhattan. Fresh hot rolls and chopped salads followed along with a refreshing glass of Pinot Grigio. The evening's entrees were the 8 ounce Filet Mignon and 14 ounce New York Strip, both perfectly grilled. Accompaniments included a glass of Zinfadel and a baked potato and asparagus for the strip steak, and a baked sweet potato and mixed steamed vegetables for the filet. The finish included black coffee and a generous slice of banana cream pie to share. It was a perfect steak house experience, one we look forward to repeating again soon!

Wonderful place! My husband took me for my birthday dinner and I couldn’t be more pleased. I saw a couple bad reviews saying it was to loud to be considered romantic but I absolutely disagree. It was mildly loud with many happy guests having conversation but not so loud we were distracted or unable to hear each other. It was nice an cozy. Many employees and the owner came to greet us and made us feel welcomed and well cared for. The food…omg!!! The best steak I’ve ever had in my entire life. Everything was absolutely perfect! I highly recommend this place.
A fine dining colonial inspired American steakhouse. A low light and intimate setting with a piano player in the background brings together quality steak and a worthwhile experience that you'll be asking to come back for. Don't let the strip mall appeal fool you, this is a grade A real local gem in Rehoboth located off of the coastal highway. P.S. try the basil butter 🧈.
First time here. This place is very unassuming from the outside (in fact, I would recommend a better building), but inside is white cloth and classy.
A bit noisy once when the restaurant is filled, but the decorum is perfect for the holidays. The food was great and service was up-to-par.
The pricing is actually very reasonable since the steaks come with a choice of side and they have no problem with substitutions.
If I lived here, I would definitely come back. I had the filet and it was perfect.

We had an amazing experience at 1776 Steakhouse. The ribeye was absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection from the mashed potatoes to the asparagus to the decadent chocolate cake! My daughter loved the sweet tea as well. Our server, Andrea, was very personable and wanted us to have the best experience so she took the time to explain the small differences in steak cuts. We will certainly be back on our next visit from PA! Hats off to the chefs!
I got lucky when my friend and I came here. There was a live band performing and it was great. The food was top notch! The 1776 steak was delicious.
You should to cut the meat and asparagus to smaller pieces, get the asparagus then the meat and dap it with the sauce and it is delicious. One of the finest I've tasted.
We came here for my boyfriend’s birthday dinner and it was amazing. Staff was so friendly off the bat, and our server Andrea was so kind and really drilled it to us that she wanted us to enjoy every bit of our meals. She even somehow got the chefs to cook my steak right over medium rare, but not quite medium it was perfect! We were not going to get the dessert but it was a huge chocolate cake with buttercream frosting, again perfect, enough for 3 people to share! We are from PA and we most definitely will be back!
Great atmosphere, exceptional service. Food was good however it lacked on seasoning, very plain. The creme brulee was oddly thick inside and not creamy, the top of it was over torched in places causing burnt spots. Our server Jodi was amazing.
