It was fairly busy to give them the benefit. Busy means they are probably good. The food was awesome and reasonably priced for the quality and quantity. It takes a lot for me to get a doggie bag, and I needed it here.

Generally speaking the food is great! Service not the best - hostesses should learn to smile, and not keep people waiting forever. I'm Colombian - why are you giving me my mojarra frita without limón? My ensalada came dry, I had to ask for a vinaigrette. The drinks (passion fruit margaritas) were fantastic!

Honestly I heard this was the best Pollos Mario, I always expect places like these to be busy and it was the food was amazing I was said I couldn't have my arroz con Pollo, but the skirt steak was superb.
Now I know it was kinda busy as any restaurant but we waited a long time for our food especially with 4 people.
What I also disliked was the forced tip when honestly the speed in which the food came out wasn't the best. I won't jack the service was excellent but the wait doesn't make it equal. Plus our server was a different by the end of our meal.
Tip should be based on service and not forced because of any other reason.
Still would recommend people for the food because it's of quality.

1st time visiting this location since i walked in the person registering theirs guess immediately greed me and wrote my name on the book .. waiting time 1 hour but i was call in 15 minutes... the waitress name andres was great super super attentive

We had a fantastic time at this restaurant last evening. The food service and atmosphere were all great. If you're looking for an authentic Colombian restaurant experience, don't pass up the opportunity to visit Pollos Mario. You won't regret it. We found a jewel of a restaurant right in the heart of Queens NY.

This place is pretty good. Service was friendly and a but under staff. The portions were huge and would try again. If you have 4 or more people, there's no need to order the same dish. Try ordering different dishs to share and mix it up.

Had a nice Sunday lunch in one of their outside mini sheds. The fried chicken cutlet was huge. The skirt steak was also a large serving. The food was good and the prices are fair.

Always a good time when I come here! I had the bandera tipica which is actually my favorite plate. Their skirt steaks are awesome! They serve mixed drinks, beer, alcohol, and have seafood items on the menu. You can also come here for breakfast or lunch, and they close at 12 midnight. Prices are good, and the service is accurate, friendly, and fast. Never a dull moment. Great for large groups
