Review Barosa - Rego Park

Had a luncheon there several weeks ago for 60 people and everything went very well. The service and food was impeccable and plentiful. A great time was had by all. A wonderful experience.

Absolutely great food and service I went ones with my friend to have a dinner and food was so delicious that we decided to have her Bridal Shower at this restaurant and it went super well . The stuff was helpful and Food was Good . ( the arrangement with balloons and flowers we did ourselves . Would like to additionally say Thank you for letting us to it )

I'd rate this Italian restaurant as overall superior. Delicious food & drinks, lovely holiday decorations, and we were a party of 11 there on a Saturday night. The only service issue was minor, in that we waited a while 4 both drinks & appetizers. But not too bad.

I was celebrating with some friends, the food was delicious, the service was great and I recommend it. It was my first time and I plan to return soon.

We had a large party and after about 15 min(which gave us time for hellos) we were all seated. When the food started coming out it smelled so good n it was . It was a fixed menu due to our lunch party but it was still alot of good food !

This is the best restaurant I've ever been to. Everything was amazing. Order the clams barosa before they pour the water.

I have driven by this restaurant so many times and had no idea what I was missing. The food was so delicious & the drinks were strong (in the best way). Staff was friendly as well and attentive. This will be my new Italian restaurant spot for sure!

Update: Gave Barosa another chance over the weekend, and I must say I was very impressed with the service and the food! Barosa offers outstanding Italian cuisine, with flavors that transport you to Italy. The dishes are expertly crafted and bursting with authentic tastes, making it a must-visit for any food lover. I ordered the filet of Branzino Frqncese, it was excellent ,the grilled octopus was to die for, OMG next time I'm going to order three as my main meal, the clams were delicious, the shrimp cocktail was outstanding. Everything was so delicious and fresh, service was amazing the waiter was so attentive he was also happy to see that we loved everything. You must go and try for yourself. Well, well, where should I start? Food is ok, portions are small but the food is good and fresh, with that being said, I must then review the service, we waited and hour an half hour for our food to come out, when we asked the waiter, he said there was an accident in the kitchen with our food, so when I asked what had happened, he said our food had been dropped and they had to cook it all over again, at this point I was ready to leave and just pay for our drinks and appetizers, but my husband and my mother in law were starving, so we just decided to wait, we got dessert on the house though. I think this is a chronic issue for them because a few years ago, the same thing happened to us, they either forgot about us, or our order was never submitted. You only Get one chance, that's it! We learned our lesson the hard way today.

There for a meeting and few appetizer. The sauce on the baked clams was amazing and the mussels Barosa was good. Meatball was a little bit tough and the stuffed avocado was tiny. Service was great. Will definitely keep this on my business lunch list.

This place has everything for the Italian food lover in you in just the right portions..not too much or too little leaving room for dessert with a shot of amaretto, lemoncello, or annisette on the side with your cappuccino of course! Prices are mid-range to expensive. 4 adults with drinks, dessert, plus tip ran me about 400.00 even. If you are not a generous tipper like me about 350.00. But always keep in mind that it's not about the cost but THE EXPERIENCE for a real foodie!

Visiting New York area coming from the beautiful Smoky Mountains of Asheville, NC, hopped off the plane and wanted food, specifically pizza. Googled best pizza place, and Barosa popped up, we stopped. Very nice, put you in the mood of a nice family owned respectful restaurant, you know, like the ones you see on the movie screen. Dressed to the nines, but casual nines, and comfortable atmosphere. Friendly service, warm bread, delicious pizza, and cannoli.

We've had two parties there in the last few years. Everything worked out great! The room downstairs is perfect, the waiters were very attentive and friendly, food was delicious, would definitely recommend to anyone and there are also two private bathrooms. Don't hesitate to Call Richie and ask for the details!

Very authentic Italian cuisine, the food was great and so was the service, I have nothing bad to said.

I order from Barosa at least twice a week, and sometimes more. I have never had a badly cooked meal! On rare occasions, the food is not as hot as I would like, but I attribute that to their using a delivery service rather than their own staff. I am delighted that Barosa survived the pandemic!

Amazing from start to finish we were celebrating my husband's birthday and never been before they treated us so well. The food was delicious.

Food - 4 stars Service - 5 stars Price - 4 stars Local Italian restaurant serving pretty good food. The clam pasta was delicious (just slightly too much soup) and full of clams! The pizza had generous amounts of cheese and was a good size. The layered chocolate cake was rich and indulgent, perfect way to finish off. The place is cozy and dimly lit, perfect for families and dates. Prices are also fair for the portions.
