If you have food allergies, be careful! I've been to the other Matador locations many times without issues - it's a favorite go to for meeting up. Good food/drinks/ambiance and great HH. This was my first time at the Redmond location. I've dealt with food allergies for years (gluten/dairy) so I know the drill. I told our server up front what my allergies are and stressed that I'm very sensitive, (Yes, I'm that bish) and I asked questions about the menu. The server checked a couple of things for me and she put my allergies on my order, so I felt confident. I discovered that one of my plates did have dairy when my stomach started cramping about half way in. I asked our server about it and she reported back that the chef said "it only has a little". So they made a judgment call instead of honoring my request for no dairy, and it means that I'll be dealing with the fallout for a week. It's frustrating. My server was sweet and she did take the item off my bill. Some kitchens are really on point about taking care of customers like me and some are not. It happens. I'd eat here again but be very rigorous about ordering next time.

Great ambience and food with a reasonable price! Been here last Friday night, no reservations and so had to wait for almost an hour 😅. Note that there will not be any alcohol served after 10pm which was little disappointing after the wait though. But the food tasted delicious. Loved the Quesadillas and Tortilla chicken soup, Enchiladas is quite filling and yummy too except Cilantro-Lime Shrimp is just OK. Overall a good experience, can visit again 😁

Literally the greatest happy hour food of all time. $5 nachos? $5 brussel sprouts? It's amazing. It's a paradise for vegetarians, meat eaters and gluten free people alike. The atmosphere is amazing, and even now with the pandemic it's really easy to call and order food for takeout or order it on their website. They currently have drinks to go which is great even if a little bit pricey. Their regular menu is extensive, and they have quick service, friendly servers and we've never had to wait very long for a table or our food. I currently rate all nachos and brussel sprouts that I eat on a scale of 1 to Matador, and so far no one has ever come close!

Outside of the pandemic this place is all about the amazing beverages selection & the ambiance. Take out worked OK. We loved the Carnitas Enchilada & Tres Carnes Mega 'Dilla was amazing after a quick pan fry to recrisp. We had never had their Carne asada and I thought it would travel well but I was underwhelmed by the tough thick pieces of meat so wouldn't even order it at the restaurant. Nachos by the fire with a cocktail always wins!
