This is such a wonderful place! I went in with my mum for the first time yesterday and just loved it. The staff was super friendly. My lavender and honey latte was amazing and the green tea was to die for. We sat by the window and everything from the ambience to the food on our plate was perfect. Think I'll go there quite often now!
Every time I go in there's always a great mix of people and great energy It's bustling but never too busy to the point I don't feel welcome or comfortable. The people behind the counter are always in a good mood and they all remember my little quirks with my coffee drink! It's a great place to socialize with friends, to read a book, to get some work done on the computer, and most of all...it's a great place for an amazing cup of coffee!
This is a great coffee shop! Redmond was in dire need of a new coffee spot that is PC friendly (I used to go to Victors coffee shop, but they don't have wifi and the owner hates people being on computers there). The coffee is great - true craft coffee and they have fun flavored drinks too. We were in here a few weeks ago and my 4 year old spilled her hot chocolate and they were so nice to us even though we made a huge mess. They cleaned it up and brought her a new one. This is our new weekend spot and I love to come catch up on my email over a cup of coffee during the work week when I can. Well done River Trail team!
Yeeeeeees! What a find. Perfectly-roasted brewed coffee - not burnt like most places. And completely unpretentious: Giant cup, super decent price point, laid back atmosphere, very pleasant baristas and I cannot believe that scone was gluten-free and vegan. Not my last trip!
This is the place to be!! They have a serious passion for what they do here...
I stepped out and tried a couple of new things,,,,the Americano is great!! The drip is good!! Get in there and enjoy a hot cup of java!! The cold brew is 100% Legit!!
Cool vibe and friendly people. I drink black coffee, so you get a pure jolt of the coffee taste and it was excellent. I only wish I didn't live 300 miles away. I would be there daily.
Great coffee joint that roasts their own beans. Coffee is fresh, medium-dark and flavorful. Baristas are skilled and very friendly. They do some creative things like Hemp Chai that are well worth trying out.
Fantastic coffee and a great atmosphere for studying/working! My new favorite coffee shop!
this place is amazing! best coffee in Redmond.....

Five stars all the way for this wonderful, welcoming locally-owned business! Quality of the coffee, knowledgeable staff, great rewards program, great hours for early birds (or folks suffering from jet lag!), convenient location right off the trail. The muffins, scones & cinnamon rolls are scrumptious. Apart from the excellent coffee, I particularly appreciate the friendly staff. You are never "just a number"! It's very easy to become a regular. No coffee snobbery here... just very well-informed baristas who will be happy to answer all your questions. More questions? Schedule a chat with the owner-- she's amazing! Hands-down, my favorite coffee shop in Redmond. Great clientele as well-- lots of friendly folks! Can't wait for my next trip to Redmond.
I've been waiting for Lyndsey to get River trail Roaster open. I stopped by and had a great Latte! It will be by go to stop for that perfect cup of coffee.
Great location, Great looking shop and most of all great people!

RTR is my favorite coffee shop in Redmond! I work around the corner and stop here every morning to ensure my day starts out right! The team is so friendly and remembers my drink every time :) I am a bit of a coffee snob, appreciating a well roasted bean when I try one, and they have really nailed it!
If you haven't been, you should stop in for a visit!
Some coffee shops rely on gimmicks to attract customers but not this one. Their "gimmick" is flawless execution from the roast to the prep of the drinks. The cold brew, latte, americano, and mocha is the best I've tasted in a while. No excessive bitterness and a richness of coffee fruit flavor shows a careful attention to cleaning and preparation. It is not easy to do.
I'll note that the caffeine content seems a bit higher than the other roasts in the area. This is not a bad thing but I've discovered their decaf is pretty delicious as a consequence.
Everyone is also very nice, like pre-boom Redmond nice, and despite the hard work they appear to enjoy the gig. Great Wi-Fi and some nice sit spots for digital nomads too!
Just been here once, but loved it. No better conceivable location for bikers and runners enjoying the trail.
Without a doubt, the best coffee in Redmond, made by the best baristas.
I wanted to sit, reading a book and enjoying a latte and a treat. This place was perfect. The sofa became available right as I was ordering, which was great. I loved the environment. It wasn't too loud or too quiet. It was spacious, my latte was good, and they warmed the scone so the chocolate was nice and melty. I will definitely be back.

This is a nice beautiful coffee place perfect for working, reading or just hanging out. They have breakfast, food and great coffee. The cardamom and cinnamon latte is a must try.
My barista's smile was electric. Chill vibe, wonderful folks working together as a team. Avocado toast with bacon and cheese was delectable.
Tasty quiche and coffee shop to work from. Very pleasant new owner who was attentive with excellent customer service. His staff was having an off-day which was off putting but he acknowledged it and really went above and beyond to compensate for her shortfall. I really appreciate that and can't wait to come back!
My favorite coffee place in the Seattle/Greater Seattle area. The staff is extremely friendly and co-operative. The space is cozy for long reads or even for working on assignments. Having said that, the space is also peppy enough to hangout with friends over a coffee (and a scone may be?).
I always order a Romeo - that's dark chocolate and raspberry mocha. I absolutely love it. If you're a white chocoholic, you may want to try the Juliet.
Their food menu, although limited, is very tasty. If you are in the area, this coffee place is a must try!
This place is amazing and one of my fist stops when I visit Washington. Love everything about this place. The coffee is full of flavor and I can't ever get enough. Lol
My favorite is lavender and honey. The coffee is absolutely amazing its robust but very smooth. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. Don't forget the food.
Adorable coffee shop and roaster. They also have a selection of gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian baked goods.
This is a really comfortable shop, with quality coffee and a variety of seating. They have room for groups, lots of individual spots for working alone, and really friendly baristas. River Trail came recommended from another barista who called it a must-see, and I completely agree. I got a cappuccino that was super tasty and smooth. Overall, it’s a great spot to camp out for an hour or two.
