Royal Indian Cuisine

Visited this place on a Friday for having lunch. I was welcomed by Meena the owner of this place, she was kind, we spoke a lot and got along very well. The ambience was calm with Punjabi music in the background, which is one of my favorites. I had ordered Butter Naan and Butter Chicken and it was truly delicious. I loved the curry and hot naans. The food was served quickly and the curry came with rice which I hadn't expected. So, I had considerable amount left for my dinner too. I would recommend this place for a good stomach full meal! Great work guys! Keep going!

We came here on a whim because another restaurant was closed. We are so thankful we came here because the food is truly amazing. I never thought Redding would have this kind of quality Indian food. The cuisine is from the northern region focusing on spices and sauces. The service is very friendly and the food comes out fast. The atmosphere feels authentic and clean. If you enjoy Indian food, or are simply curious I can't recommend this place enough. This is now our go to place.

My favorite restaurant in Redding. Fresh, high quality food alongside such friendly and amazing staff. An absolute must if you love Indian, and for those who never tried, this is the best place for an introduction! Personally I love the Dal Makhani with some rice, naan and achar. And Gotta try those chana samosas!

In the old Yadgaar building, Royal has stepped up the ambiance with new paint and music but the LED lighting is way too bright. The food was not good-- it lacked creaminess, salt, and fresh flavor. It was served warm, not hot. Service was polite but we went without water refills all night. It was pretty slow going, too. Prices were comparable to most Indian restaurants.

I ordered the "Fit for Royal King" meal and a mango lasse. Portions were great, food was wonderful, and the naan was some of the best i have ever had. It was so good! Also, the lady (I think she was the owner) that served me and rang me up was delightful. I recommend this restaurant without reservation!

The food here is so flavorful. We had the samosas as an app. So yummy. The chutney is delicious. I had the mango lassi with an order of the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. My other half had the lamb curry with garlic naan. Both dishes were wonderful. The service was superb and the atmosphere is so inviting. Overall amazing.
