I was told by Redding locals it was a must. I agree. Curious service, but grubby burger and fresh crispy fries. The chocolate malt will take you back. Delicious.

The burger and fries were good but these are not old fashion burgers as mentioned prior. Better than McD but nowhere near a hand patty, crisp lettuce, and fresh cut fries. Just understand what you’re getting, and there are only 3 small booths for sitting.

Once you realize what ⅙# is, it is a good burger. Not much meat if you go small but tasty, a lot of toppings and the fries are hot, good and plentiful. If you like a roadside burger joint, this place is for you.

Food was very good! Fast service, and it had the old fashioned vibe I was looking for. The fries on their own aren’t anything special, but with the sauce it goes together really really well. The burger was also really good, although the onion in the burger can be a bit over powering so if you don’t like too much onion it’d be best to ask for less or none. Overall had a great experience and a great meal

Good little burger place where the food has a little upgrade - if you're looking for something with a little more pizzazz than your average drive thru burger, this is definitely worth checking out. The giant burger is pretty decent in size - and you can choose how "well" you want your burger done, i.e., well, medium, etc. Shake was good and definitely recommended, as were the fries, which are nicely crispy. Only drawback was their special sauce - flavor only hits one note, would have preferred another choice and possibly a spicy option. Service was really great though!

Mindblowing. These people know the art of the burger. And as a complete surprise, the fries, out of nowhere, were DELICIOUS. I’m talking top 5 fries of my life. Stop looking at other burger places, if you’re fortunate enough to be within driving distance of this gem, it’s worth the pilgrimage. I’m jealous of the experience you’re about to have.

Lady taking the order wasn’t nice. We made the mistake of ordering a normal burger and it was similar to a cheese burger at McDonald’s. Not worth the money. The shake was good tho.

I'm visiting California from Texas, and I would say the price for the amount of food provided is a bit high; and if you want to add extras, like bacon or cheese, you will pay for it. However, these burgers and ingredients are fresh and everything is cooked to order. So depending in how much you value fresh food, it might be worth it. I ordered the Regular Burger meal and added bacon and American cheese and paid close to $12. The meal did come with fries and a drink. The fries were fresh, and perfectly salted. I'm a huge fan of perfectly salted fries, and I can honestly say that they know what they are doing. The gentlemen behind the counter seemed to be doing almost everything from taking orders, cooking meals, cleaning/clearing tables, and walking the food to the customers. I was very impressed by him. He was also kind and attentive. The restaurant building itself is rather small, with limited seating during the busiest hours. There are roughly 6 places to sit at the counter, 4 two-person booths inside, and 3 large 6-8 people tables outside at the front of the building. So if you're not taking to-go, you might want to plan around busy hours. Otherwise, you can bunk up on an outside table with others! All in all, I have a co-worker that will be here next week that I will be bringing here for an old-fashioned burger. So I would absolutely recommend this place.
