Randys Restaurant

We have driven by Randy's many times but hadn't stopped til today. Went through the drive-thru for lunch and will definitely come back. I got a California burger, a small pop, and shared a large fry. The burger had fresh toppings and a delicious bun. This might sound like an odd thing to comment on - their cup lids secure well and that's appreciated when it seems like many places have went to cheaper, flimsier packaging. Reasonable prices.

This is a different set up for a restaurant. Think Culvers meets family diner. You order your food at the counter and they give you a number and the food is then delivered to your table. We had the Denver omelet with hashbrowns and Denver burrito. Hashbrowns were soggy, not crispy and we asked for cheese to be added and it was a slice of American cheese, not what i expected. The food was was OK, nothing special. The staff were friendly.

Food was good, fairly priced. Very little precaution taken for the safety of their guests( none, to be honest) For example- no employees were wearing masks- which seems like the simplest of precautions you could take . The salad bar was fully open which isn't suggested at all to prevent disease spreading. no distance recommendations while seating. I went to use the restroom, it was locked and I assumed it was occupied only to see a middle aged woman worker walk right out of the men's room? Gross for a family restaurant

Great mix of food choices. When you pull up to the drive thru or the parking lot and you see the interior you know its going to be good. If you know, you know. The interior has that old cafe/ truck stop cafe presence. Good food and fast service. The food is a mix of sit down comfort food but done in a fast food drive thru way. Go check it out

Randy's is a classic in Red Wing. There's a variety of food options that all reinforce the old school American diner feeling they project. The burgers aren't crazy and out there, but they're classic and DELICIOUS. The salad bar is something I always lookforward to as well. My family goes out of our way to get their strawberry shakes, mashed potatoes with gravy, and chicken whenever we can. Personal favorite for me is the crispy chicken wrap with the honey ranch sauce on it. The best part about this restaurant is that it has a drive thru, so you have the option of sit down restaurant quality diner food on the go. I 100% would recommend Randy's any day of the week!
