I was diagnosed with a gluten free allergy almost 4 years ago. My husband and I have got the gluten free chocolate cupcakes with three different frostings! The salted caramel frosting is so well balanced, the peanut butter frosting is possible the creamiest smoothest frosting I've ever had and I am still waiting to have my mint chocolate frosting. I will definitely be back for any gf cupcake needs! On top of that all the employees I met were so friendly in the store. I highly recommend this place for all of your cupcake needs!
Went to Cupcake City in Reading today. Totally delicious. Spectacularly fresh. Small but charming shop. 100% on the yum scale.
So i only pick 5 stars so u would read this. I really wasnt Impressed with the cupcakes that I spent $18 this past week. They where very dry. And the frosting on a few of the ones i got was over whiped or to much butter, cuz it was like eating just butter on my cupcake. Not much of a filling, really nothing there. I wont go back and will pass on to others not to go.
These cupcake are SO good, So good, So good! Tried the pumpkin with cream cheese frosting and the lemon with lemon cheese cream frosting.
Best cupcakes I ever had!! You should definitely put this place on your bucket list..

Ordered these for a Bachelorette party and they were a hit! The cupcakes are not overly sweet, moist, and taste amazing! I ordered most of the flavors they have on hand and some of their summer specials (oreo, salted caramel, carrot cake, red velvet, peanut butter, cookie dough.. this are the ones I remember). Everyone loved them. I definitely plan on coming back to try some of their specials!
They have their own parking lot, which is helpful for pick up. Check out their website or call them for flavors that they have available!

I truly have never had better frosting! It isn’t overly sweet and really tastes amazing. If you’re looking for a sickly sweet cupcakes, this isn’t for you. You can taste the butter and quality ingredients in every bite! After a local bakery butchered my order, I was in such a lurch for a bridal party. I came to cupcake city for days before the party and everything was beautiful and tasty. I am most definitely a customer for life.
The only thing that would make it a little bit better, is updating their flavors daily so you know which ones are there, and for a helpful hint the frosting needs to be room temperature so make sure you take them out of the refrigerator in time (I honestly would give them 90 minutes!)
