If you ever find yourself in Rayville, LA along I-20 - do yourself a favor and swing through town and pick up something from Mama Sarah's. Best food, friendliest people and greatest hometown atmosphere anywhere. When I ordered a burger basket, I asked if the fries were "home cut". They said "No, do you want them home cut?" And...they did. My wife got a pork chop and she said it was absolutely the best.
Wish I could rate it 10 stars instead of just 5. Absolutely heavenly bacon cheeseburger and my wife’s fried pork chop was outstanding. Mama Sarah and her staff are so friendly and fun. Wish it wasn’t so far away (well over 5 hours). But - next time we pass anywhere near we will stop by again.
Fantastic! She asked what we wanted when we walked into this home cooking family restaurant. The atmosphere was welcoming and the conversation interesting. HIGHLY recommend!
Good food and call in orders
Love the food! Huge helpings for a reasonable price -- I've tried the burgers, pork chop dinner, fish dinner and have been more than satisfied. Every time I come home, I make a trip to Mama Sarah's!!
The food is wonderful.The customer service was awesome.They tended to us immediately.The food was hot and fresh.The fried fish is highly recommended.I'm from Houston visiting and this place was recommended.The next time I come to Rayville,I will be back..
