Review Firehouse Grille And Pub - Ravenna

First time in Rootstown, stopped by for lunch. Our waitress was excellent, the food was delicious, I had the chicken dinner and my wife had the turkey sandwich. They are in a cozy, older building with a dedication to other local businesses.

We visited early Monday afternoon. We had a group of 8 and sat at the corner table. The waitress was great. She suggested burgers so we ordered a few burgers. The sour kraut balls were AMAZING! The beer was cold and the food was all really good. Kids menu portions were perfect. The bathroom could use attention, which I told the waitress. She addressed it. They were out of a few things so we had to make other selections.

This plave has such amazing food. First time there the other day and everything was on point. Staff was cool drinks were brought to our large group promptly I highly recommend stepping in!

I took my 2 son's here, and it was nice, they had a kids menu. I got the buffalo chicken salad (whole portion) and it was good, although I don't think I have ever eaten one with a spring salad mix before. My oldest had spaghetti and meatballs, and my youngest had mini corn dogs, and they enjoyed their meals.

Great service, friendly staff and a comfortable environment. The bone in wings are perfect and not small like other places. Food is always fresh and tastes great!

I can only give the Firehouse 5 stars. The food and service were excellent! I just moved in not far from here and have been looking for a new restaurant to frequent and I have just found it. Will absolutely be back !

Fish Fry: Fries were hot but not finished. Not crispy. Fish was very greasy. Soggy inside. Fryer needs changed perhaps. Fish tasted of old grease, and it's accumulated flavors. Dark coloring. Extremely thin filets. The feature and the product is the batter/breading. Very little fish in the fish fry. Pierogi were from an unknown restaurant supply source. (And spelled incorrectly on the menu board which definitely displays a lack of culinary respect and quality). It's labeled as a fish fry. There are far better options. Everyone seems to have a "fish fry" on their Friday menu.

Food was blah...typical deep fried bar food. Liquor is VERY overpriced. Who charges $8 for a shot of Crown? And what bar charges extra for soda? With these drink prices, no wonder the place was empty.
