The cheesy crab appetizer was amazing! It contained coconut and you only need a little sweet & sour sauce to compliment it. Also had chicken pad tai. It was great as well, one of the better I've had. A con for me was that the service was slow. Our waitress was either busy or doing something else most of the time. Unfortunately the restaurant is in a sketchy area. Don't leave personal belongings in the car. Watched a drug deal go down at Stardust Motel while getting gas at the nearby Maverick gas station. If you can stomach the area, your taste buds will be happy.

We visit Rapid City fairly often to visit my son at school so we have eaten at quite a few places in the area. Thai Thai has been the best by far!! I ordered the Basil Fried Rice with chicken and it was excellent, including the crispy bits of rice. The vegetables were fresh and not your typical over cooked or canned veggies. The chicken was tender and thinly sliced. My husband ordered the Yellow Curry with chicken and it was delicious! I ended up spooning his sauce on my rice as it was amazing. My son ordered the Thai Thai fried rice with beef. I did not taste it but he said it was really good too. The service was good and our food came out fairly quick.

I was excited to stop by with my family for dinner. Upon arriving, we were greeted and sat at our table quickly.
We ordered Shrimp Hoa Gow, Beef Pad See Ew, Drunken Noodles with Pork, Green Curry with Chicken, Basil Stir Fry with Beef, Tom Kha Gai with Chicken, and Rad Na.
First, the good: Green Curry had good flavor and a nice kick to it. The Tom Kha Gai was also delicious with white rice.
Secondly, the bad: A lot of the drinks we wanted to order was out of stock. My mother-in-law was hoping to eat papaya salad which is normally a staple in Thai food but it was not an option here. The Hoa Gow tasted like the frozen ones you buy and microwave at home, except not as good. Everything else we ordered was extremely salty and hard to finish. The noodles didn’t taste fresh and the meat was overcooked.
Our family does not like to waste food but we all agreed that bringing the leftovers home would be a wasted effort. My husband said he’d give this place two stars but I don’t like doing that because I think there’s always a chance for improvement. Otherwise, I don’t believe we will be eating here again.

We ordered take out, they were super sweet and accommodating, but the food wasn't that great. The spring roll sauce was sour and watered down, which as an Asian person I know how the sauce should taste and its supposed to be on the sweeter hosin side... the glass noodle dish the seasoning had a weird taste to it ALONG with the Asian meatloaf and the shrimp wasn't cooked (I chewed into one and it was raw!) and the beef laab was bland and only tasted like there were only rice seasoning powder in it (we asked for spicy and it wasn't spicy).. overall disappointed, we will not be returning.
The pad Thai was okay, but for the price we paid for we were super disappointed.

I had a couple people tell me Thai Thai was good, but today, I finally was able to try it myself. I was pleasantly surprised. The service was pleasant, smiling and friendly. My lunch order, cashew stir fry with tofu, was very flavorful and came out from the kitchen quickly. Thai Thai is not necessarily in the best part of town, but it was clean and pleasant. I will definitely go back and recommend it.

Best Thai food in South Dakota. Maybe best Thai food outside Seattle.
We wait all winter to return to SD just to eat here.
Curry is perfect, selection of noodle dishes can not be beat. Pricing is really good. Most dishes average $11.
Parking is small and it's not flashy from the outside. Closed on Wednesday.
Worth every penny. We tip heavy to say thank you for highest quality and service with a smile.
Can not recommend highly enough!

Excellent food, and responsive staff.
We stopped to pick up lunch while traveling through Rapid City on I90. Ordered Masaman Curry and Yellow Curry, both were excellent. Next time, I would order extra vegetables.
Compliments to the staff, they realized we had left without the tofu for both orders, so they quickly called us in time for us to return to pick those up. Thank you.

Very busy Thai restaurant even though we were there around 3:30 P.M . Its good Thai food but its not very authentic Thai food though. That's the reason I gave 3 stars. However its a very tasty Americanize Thai food thus they are very busy. I definitely recommend to go eat their food.
