Cookie Cutter Teppayaki. I've got to say we enjoyed the food, service was good, decor was fine.
Trouble is, been to a hundred of these places now, over the years.
They all seem the same!
I'm a huge fan of Japanese cuisine! The atmosphere and up front style of cooking is great and exciting! Our chefs are always entertaining and the staff always pleasant.
Great ambience, love the food. Not the best sushi but steak was prepared excellent and rice was cooked perfectly.
Love it. Great food. don't forget to go on happy hour
Always enjoy the food and show. Great place to bring kids and the price is reasonable. Sometimes you can get a little rushed thru but it is a family favorite of ours
Great food, great show, and their sushi is some of the best too.
Had a great time here. The service was great, we got our drinks quickly after we sat down. The food was great for the price as you received large portions. The cooks were fun, high energy and made it fun for all. We have been here before and will for sure attend again.
Been here many of times, Kobe is the place you go to see food cooked in front with a little entertainment to go with your meal. Well as years go by, we don't see much of the entertainment part, so your spending more and just watching someone cook for you which I could save all that and do that at home. So hopefully they will change this part cause that's the whole point. Maybe it was just our cook.. Our service was good. They got the sushi wrong at first but they got it corrected quickly. Valet Parking is back which is nice to see. The valet was a very nice young man. Overall, fun place, Love the Koi and the atmosphere. The blackened Tuna appetizer..very good.
The food was so fresh and delicious!! The atmosphere brought me to Japan. We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, but I hade to wait for 1 hour to get my table though I made a reservation. That was a quite long time to wait for a reservation.
Great over all experience. It was packed to make sure you have reservations.
we had a party of 14 with penalty of elbow room especially for a really Big Indian like my self. My only issue was happy hour was not so happy 7.50 for 12oz bottles you can pay a 6pack for $11. 😶🌫️
Oh what a treat this was! We had reservations for a Saturday at 5:30 and waited about 15 minutes to be seated.
However, we were directed to a waiting area where there is happy hour all day. My husband and I got Mai Tai’s and the girls got Japanese sodas.
All entrees came with miso soup, shrimp, white rice and dessert. The kids meals do as well!
I got shrimp, my husband got steak with ahi tuna, chicken kids meal and steak & chicken kids meal. We also got 2 sides of garlic fried rice. It was all so delicious! We each got green tea or orange sherbet ice cream which was nice.
Our chef put on a performance, but the fire scared the girls a bit. He also threw shrimp for us to catch in our mouths. Only my husband was successful, but it was still fun!
We’ll certainly be back.
Great fresh hot food 😋 cooks are awesome. A lady sitting with us asked for ginger sauce to be put poured on her steamed rice. I gave that a try too and added good flavor to the white rice
Went for a friend’s birthday and had a lot of fun. Be warned that you may wait 30+ minutes even if you have a reservation, which we expected after reading other reviews. We recommend getting a drink at the bar while waiting for your table. No need for $5 valet — free self parking is in the back lot. Our waiter, Allen, was very friendly and did a great job. He even told us that most menu items can be made gluten-free. It’s cooked separately in the kitchen and not on the teppanyaki grill. Husband ordered the steak and scallops gluten-free, and he was still able to enjoy the cooking show with all of us. Teppanyaki show was entertaining. Food was good with the ginger sauce and horseradish-soy sauce they give you. Use the sauces! Overall, this was a fun experience for a birthday celebration.
We ate at the sushi bar. Intimate, cozy bar for those wanting something other than teppan. Everything was excellent, and the service was great. Gorgeous restaurant. Beautiful decor outside.
This place has some amazing food, the seating could definitely use some fixing. As well as the restroom entrance, that’s an accident waiting to happen with all the chairs piled up. But the vibes and drinks were definitely nice.
Dinner was excellent and we had a family birthday which they celebrated with us. However it was uncomfortably hot due to food being cooked in front of us . The restaurant has been there a long time & the air conditioning is probably old & not much insulation. But we had a wonderful time & portions were large. We'll definitely return but not when it's over 100 degrees outside .
Short version: Great people, great drinks, great food.
Long version: I think I’ve left a review on every sight possible. This place is our go to for date nights. It’s fun, no matter what chef we get they make it enjoyable and fun and the food always turns out amazing. We go here once a month or every other month because it’s that good. They don’t have yum yum sauce(fine by me!) but they have a spicy horseradish sauce that is to die for. I can’t get enough. The drinks are so good, you can wait in the bar before you are seated. The spicy garlic fried rice is better than any fried rice I’ve ever had. They are really great with allergies. We had someone at our table who was allergic to garlic and they were very attentive. We don’t like mushrooms so anytime we ask for it without EACH PERSON we come into contact with verifies it isn’t an allergy. The price is well worth the product. I would give this place a 100/5. Great people, great drinks, great food.
Had a really good time. The food was ok but our chef was very entertaining and the other servers were all on point. The people we were seated with did a lot of complaining and interrupting the chef to ask for things like a glass of water, different sauces and extra things for their small child. They were being ridiculous and were very annoying but the chef handled it like a champ.
I expected a little bit more flavor for the price but I Understand you're paying for a show as well. I wish our chef was More of a veteran at the skill, he was apparently brand new. The chef across the way was very impressive though
As you might guess it’s a bit pricey. My Long Island Ice tea at happy hour was $15.00 but the bartender was super nice.
Nice atmosphere. Good food. Chef was great but the rest of the staff were invisible for water, drinks etc.
Such a fun atmosphere and amazing food! I can’t wait to go again!
We stopped in to Kobe while visiting the area and had an early dinner. The ambiance was nice, the staff was great and the signature experience was fantastic! I had the chicken and shrimp entree and it tasted fresh and yummy! I haven't been to a Kobe Steakhouse since I was a boy in Nashville and it was just as nice reminiscing as it was enjoying as an adult.
Had a great time celebrating mine and my loves anniversary. The chef even made us an I ♡ U out of some of the food while he was cooking. We both ordered the NY steak and lobster, it was cooked perfectly. The miso soup, spicy fried rice, veggies and shrimp before the main dish was delicious and the green tea ice cream afterwards was also very good. The chef was very talkative and kept us laughing the entire time, he even let us catch a piece of shrimp with our mouths haha, a very entertaining night with good food. 👍
