Farmer Boys

I went here based on the 4.2 star rating. The staff was friendly but that does not make up for the sub-standard food. I got the French toast breakfast. The bacon was way too salty to eat. The French toast had that previously-frozen then microwaved taste once you get past the layers of cinnamon coasting that was definitely NOT fresh. The eggs were decent, at least they weren't fake eggs. I took time to write a review so others are not duped by the 4.2/5 rating.

I've always loved Farmer Boys since they hit this state and they've never disappointed me. This location is great! Right on old Route 66 (Foothill Blvd.), you can almost taste the history! Well, maybe not. Farmer Boys are all decorated alike (a mesh of farm tools, grape vines, and trinkets) and this location has pretty easy access from Foothill Blvd (whether East or West). The food is always great here, consistent and tasteful.

We went out of our way to eat at Farmer Boys as we have always been impressed with the cleanliness, friendly atmosphere & consistently excellent food. We were extremely disappointed in this restaurant. It was not clean, table needed wiped off, floor needed swept or even mopped, no TP in the bathroom & it was dirty too. One employee to take & wait on tables. She was adequate but not the happy "I'm glad u r here " attitude we normally experience at Farmer Boys. The food was substandard except for the fries, to the usual high quality we've experienced.

I went to the restaurant at about 12 minutes before closing tonight. There was a young lady cleaning and preparing to close. She was so polite and professional that I left her a tip. It's very refreshing to be treated so nicely when you know that people are tired and ready to go home. I'm sorry that I didn't get your name, but Thank you
