Indian Spice Restaurant

I came here during regular timings and not during buffet. place is nice, service is good, food is just okay chicken 65 was good chicken biryani was good other than that two curries (madras curry and chicken curry) were very average maybe i should try some other things next time if they make it better, i would rate them better they have well maintained restrooms they have good decoration inside the restaurant waitresses did a good job, they accommodated anything we asked for. i will try buffet next time and see how it goes.

I came kind of late but of course then there was plenty of seating. The restaurant looked nice and clean. The menu had lots of options and the prices were quite reasonable. I feel like a dope but I don't remember the name of the chicken curry dish I ordered. It was really tasty though. All in all I was glad I came.

PLEASE READ!! One of the worse food experiences ever coming from a native. We ordered chicken momo, chicken chilli and chicken 65. The momo was super dry and wrapper looked like it was way over cooked (happens when momos are stale). Chicken 65 and chicken chilli both had the same sauce, barbeque sauce. I had never tasted a chicken chilli that was sweet. Never AGAIN!!

I'm not sure why, but this restaurant was nearly empty when I was there on a Saturday night. Sure, it's a no frills location and a very simple setup inside (not a trendy date spot, I guess), but the food was really good and the prices very reasonable. Service was just fine and entertaining Bollywood videos are there to keep you in good spirits as you wait. I truly hope they are doing most of their business through takeout orders, because the food deserves more mouths to eat it. Lots of clearly-indicated vegan options, many of which I hadn't seen before. Enjoyed the steamed Indian dumpling (mo:mo) and the Gobi cauliflower covered in red sauce and spices. Also enjoyed the vegan Nepalese noodle soup, which was just the thing for my ailing throat. We got a medium level of spice, which had just the mereist spice to it and was perfect for my Caucasian palate. Would absolutely return!
