I was invited to coffee at Caretta's for a casual business meeting. The experience was wonderful. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. The atmosphere was very conducive to having a business meeting.I love the options of having almond or soymilk for my coffee.
A few days later I returned and had a smoothies which was to die for . I love that it was not loaded with sugar, but instead was sweetened with honey and almond milk.

I love Caretta Coffee! I have been here many times with friends and my Blue Water Spa family! great coffee, wonderful breakfasts and sandwiches, smoothies and tea. It's a nice spot and we enjoy the benches outside when the weather is nice. The prices are about the same as Starbucks, but the quality is top notch!

My wife and I moved to North Raleigh from NYC. We were in search for a local cafe that would offer a winning combination: Great Coffee, Baked Pastries, and Breakfast/Lunch. After visiting most of the other known local cafe's (Some were good, but too far to become our go-to spot), we were told about Caretta by some newly found friends. We visited with high expectations...and it delivered! Great Artisan Coffee bean, freshly baked goods, and sandwiches made with Boar’s Head products...Can't ask for anything else. We have finally found our go-to cafe, without making any compromise! Couldn't help but post this review in hope that Caretta Cafe can be a lifesaver for other NY transplants.

Don’t let the name fool you. Yes, they have absolutely lovely coffee’s, but they also have many other choices including smoothies. They also have an interesting chef inspired menu. I was going to add yet another picture of the avocado smash, but there are so many on here already. You can glean the reason why. It is absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend it.

I frequent here quite often and love their coffee! An espresso drink is no more here than at Starbucks. It is also much better. Their smashed toasts are delicious! The teenagers who work there have been nothing but nice to me and very helpful. Give this coffee shop a chance and I know you will return. It is a great addition to the neighborhood!

Small cozy coffee shop where everything is fresh and tasty.
Coffee is wonderful and other drinks are skillfully put together.
Their food is fantastically fresh, a little different but put together with love and fresh ingredients.
I enjoyed a custom made breakfast sandwich that had almost everything on it, it was yummy and put my appetite in place!
For a sweet finish I enjoyed a piece of lemon cake, they warmed it for me and gave me a little extra glaze. I intended to take it home, however as soon as I was in my car I had to take a bite.
It was sooo good I ended up finishing it before leaving.
If you are in the area in need of some great coffee or a little snack, this hidden little place is the place to check out.

Wow, this place was so, so good and interesting/neat! We popped in kinda randomly, but the husband and I were both really pleased with what we got. I ordered a half caf coffee, which the lady made for me with decaf Americano, and I noticed that they had a gluten free oatmeal (with berries!) that I was able to order with almond milk. Awesome! The husband had a special iced coffee and loved it.
The food menu was great, the beverage menu was great, the service was awesome. All around a really great place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This place is fantastic. The coffee is incredible— and all of the baked goods are made in house— all from a lovely woman’s own personal recipes.
Because of their hidden location, they don’t get the foot traffic they deserve. But, this place should be everyone’s go to in the north Raleigh/triangle town center area.
The ownership is local. The staff is fun. The baked goods are ridiculous.

Had a really sweet girl named Asia take my order. I came in not knowing what I wanted, and she explained what things were, gave me recommendations, and made me laugh. Ended up with an eggnog latte that I will definitely be coming back for. The atmosphere is fun, and the prices are on par with other coffee shops in north Raleigh.

Great place for a meeting indoors our outside on the picnic tables. The staff accommodated me for a video conference call, assuring me that it was no problem. I kept it low-volume as a courtesy. Great decaf Americano and gluten-free almond cookie! Thanks for the hospitality.

Caretta Coffee is a MUCH needed coffee house is this location! I was super-excited to see that they have gluten-free food options when I walked in. They have many interesting specialty drinks as well as delicious, quality food, and the owner, Connie, is very welcoming. A great place to work for my mobile sales job too!

I've had their hot coffee and their iced coffee....it's really good!! Great NEEDED location for the morning commute, it's a little tucked away but it's really worth the effort to seek the place out. Best blueberry scone I've ever had. Definitely recommended.
