Was staying at a hotel and ordered delivery. Had the Shawarma platter with salad and Baba Ghanouj; and the Shish Tawook platter with rice and Baba Ghanouj. They were very large portions and just delicious. Started to eat before taking photos as they smelled and tasted great.
The only thing that keeps me coming back to this place is the food. The buffalo chicken pizza is amazing. Great seasoning, fantastic chicken, and pure deliciousness. This restaurant sells itself wayyy short by calling itself Checkers PIZZA. It also has delicious mediterranean/arab food as well as sub sandwiches n stuff. Also its one of the only places consistently open past midnight on Hillsborough, (pretty much the only time I go there).
Such a good option for late night food any day of the week; they have a comfortable atmosphere and the food is good and reasonably priced but that rarely matters when you're looking for somewhere that's open at 2am.
My Go-To Pizza Place. The pizza is yummy and delicious ! Don't forget to get the Baklava for dessert. It is made perfectly authentic and addicting!!
Awesome pizza! Made a large order for 9 XL pizzas and they fulfilled the order very well. Everyone was extremely happy with the pizza. We enjoyed it so much we ordered the same thing 3 days in a row to support the local business. Would highly recommend instead of the franchises that don’t care about
This place seems to be very busy most nights but the staff still manages to provide quick and friendly service. I think the prices are great! When I place my order it’s always ready before I know it. I really like that they call your name when the order is ready. Other places will let you sit there.
This is the place to be the best by far Shawarma and Raleigh always fresh huge portions and friendly staff. Keep up the good work guys. We love you.
incredible pizza, cold drinks, 2 liters and single serving cups, schwarma, all sorts of mediterranean and greek foods, all around great experience! i’m a relative regular here and have never had a single complaint
Let me tell you something....Checkers Pizza and Subs in Raleigh, NC has some seriously delicious food! How good? So good that the food had my car smelling so good that I couldn’t wait to eat, hence the reason for the pictures with portions of food missing. LOL My “All The Way” Small Pizza and Honey
