This was my first time ever at the Morgan Street Food Hall, and baby I am HOOKED on Oak City Fish and Chips. First and foremost it's a black owned business whose staff is extremely warm and welcoming. Secondly, the prices are extremely reasonable and the fish portions (which is whiting..my favorite)
Looooove this place. Has been a couple years since I’d been back, but it’s just as good as my first time. Fresh and delicious shrimp and fries! Evan was very helpful at the order counter/pickup.
If your craving some flavorful and seasoned how fish n chips should be then come here ! I came to the food hall craving only to leave happy with some fish n chips . Hush puppies balance flavors . Best hush puppy I’ve had and corn brightens the dish . Good price per serving too.
The BEST calamari I've ever eaten. The breading is so well seasoned and delicious. the hot sauce is really good mixed with the cocktail sauce. And the staff are friendly and helpful. Wish I could tip them honestly!
Delicious hot & fresh food !!!!! I enjoyed my fried shrimp with fried scallops & you know what was just as great ?! Evan’s customer service - I’ve been here several times & he’s always so pleasant & helpful he’s a phenomenal asset to the establishment .. I will be returning 😊

I went to the new location at Morgan Hall today after seeing a fb ad that they are giving away free fish plates this whole week.
The fried lobster tail and shrimp was delicious! I had Oak City at the fair last year and once I knew they had a store front, I had to try it! They didn’t disappoint either! Definitely one of my favorites!

They stopped by my mom's apartment complex tonight and since we're food truck junkies, we had to give them a try. The guy running the truck (Trevor) was awesome. Had a great attitude and answered all of our questions with a smile. W
I was in Raleigh for Dreamville Festival. We were looking for food and looking at the food stands. We seen these guys and they told us to check out Oak City fish and chips. We did and the food was well seasoned and fried to perfection. I was extremely pleased to get a taste of Louisiana out here in
Fantastic food. I’ve now had their whole fried red snapper and their shrimp and both have been amazing. If you are looking for good sea food then look no further.
Just ate here for the first time at Morgan Street Food Hall and the fish, fries, and hush puppies were amazing! Evan provided great customer service as well. Will definitely get another fish basket soon.
Chef Pierre Is so amazing and the food is freakin fabulous!! The seafood is so fresh and out of this world. Hush puppies just melt in my mouth. If you get a chance do not miss out on the best seafood ever!!!!
