Review Solas - Raleigh

Que's yearly bash is always nice. This is a nice 3 story place to hold an event. The downstairs bartender was on point but the second floor bartender could have put some more alcohol in my drink. I hate paying the price for the drink and don't get a buzz. I don't want to be drunk but a nice buzz would be great.

The multiple levels and great bar service was amazing but the crowd just was a little off for my taste.

I've been to soles twice now and have enjoyed myself each time. The club is 3 level high energy spot. The nights I went which were both Saturday nights was basically urban/hip hop centered. Dress code enforced. Two bars and a balcony for smoking and enjoying the views of downtown. A nice spot

I enjoyed this club: the VIP servers were phenomenal, good music, diverse crowd. The only reduction in stars was due to 1. them scanning IDs *and* taking a picture of you just to get in. I've personally never experienced this before, and it was kind of awkward. 2. VIP section was a bit pricey for a slow night (500 for 8 people with an automatic 20% gratuity). They should reduce it down a bit on slow nights.

Went to a day party ! I had a great time it was crowded and the music was great! I’ve been at least 3 times and no complaints. Only thing I wish was no cover charge but it’s not bad. The club is located right in the center of downtown so your able to bar hop if you need too!

This is a beautiful venue is an understatement, this space is music video READY! The bartender and staff were top notch with great attitudes and a smile. I was there to enjoy and perform at a poetry event (Joy of Connecting People) host and I couldn't have been happier. If I had to ding anything, it would be the amount of time to attain a parking spot, but I do understand that when you have spaces this amazing, EVERYONE, is looking to be IN the building!!#Mad#NotMad#😍

Cool vibe. Nice laid back club/ bar with three floors for fun. Never any drama just a good time

I was there for a private event and the place was real nice. The employees were very attentive and being able to use the outdoor balcony was a plus since we were right in the middle of the downtown action you can see what's going on in the other lounges/bars. We didn't stay for the club but walking back it looked super packed and music was booming.

Last night was my first time at Solas and I really had a great time. I didn't try the food there because I already had dinner; however, probably should've tried their food, since the menu looked very good. The atmosphere was great! I went there with two friends; however, we were able to meet new friends and have a great time. The staff is extremely friendly and nice. I will definitely go back very soon.

We recently had my son's Bar Mitzvah at Solas (2nd floor lounge space). The party planning process went very smoothly and I felt that they were very organized prior to my event. When we arrived at the party, the room was set up nicely and guests were complementing the space. We really loved the outdoor patio area (especially because the weather was perfect!). The food was fine, not gourmet, but certainly good enough. The room was set-up with lots of sofas and cocktail tables, no formal seating. This was fun and casual and kept the party moving. We utilized the back room, which was a huge extra space!! There was plenty of space for our 110 guests, and yet the room felt full and festive. The valet parking was ok, but had a back-up when guests were leaving. This type of party would be even more "club-like" at night, but our party was help in the afternoon. Overall, well done!

Highly recommend Solas for wedding receptions. My fiance (now husband YEAH!) held our wedding reception at Solas in September and had a wonderful experience. Lauren and the staff were fantastic and by the end of the day I felt like I had just floated through a dream. Everything went without perfectly without a single incident or issue. We had a very tight budget to work with and Lauren worked with us to make sure all of the details were taken care of. I feel like she had completely read my mind. :) From one bride to another, finding a venue is so difficult and I was so happy we didn't end up choosing a hotel venue where we would have most likely been stuck in a windowless room and instead were treated to a beautiful sunny space with outdoor space for guests to enjoy as well. My husband and I have very eclectic families and were worried about everyone being comfortable (including our older generations) and when we arrived the space was so welcoming and comfortable. I don't think anyone felt "out of place" and even my grandmother enjoyed being there and she is a tough one to please. The food was equally as great. We ended up selecting options to do a buffet dinner and unlike traditional buffets we were able to offer our guests items that were unique and I don't think a single person went home hungry or complaining and instead truly enjoyed the food. We couldn't thank Lauren and the staff enough. We had several stressful moments leading up to the wedding and Lauren put us completely at ease and we had an absolutely perfect day!

There were several floors for different atmospheres and folks engagement pleasure. Deejays were up to date with their music choices and dolls seemed to have a good time. Seemed suited for a younger crowd of folks.

Loved that there were levels to this place. The music was amazing. There was supposed to be a Brunch, but there was no food. I liked this place better than the clubs across the street. They even had some college kids strolling inside. It was fun!

Always have a good time here. Upscale and nice. I dont spend too much time on the 2nd floor because the mid 20s crowd hangs there but the 3rd level is my speed. The dj is nice always, less crowded and the drinks are reasonable. Great place and well put together as far as the setting. I love the rooftop scene.

AMAZING!! We had a great time for my sister's bachelorette party!! Miriam was also amazing. She when up and beyond my expectations. Best service and professionalism! Overall experience was phenomenal! Have one of the best night out in Raleigh. Will be back again. Best nightclub in downtown Raleigh!!
