Hako Sushi - Raleigh - Photo album

Location- in a shopping center. Plenty of parking. Food- the food is cooked fresh. The sushi was okay. Most of the rolls only come with 5 pieces. The hibachi was cooked well. You will have to choose between white rice, fried rice or noodles. The Japanese egg roll was a basic spring roll. Service- th
This spot has great sushi with great staff and an extensive menu. I try to find something new on the menu whenever I go but I generally order takeout which is a seamless process. My go to through covid and today. It doesn't have many seating options but I have always gotten a table.
I wish the amount of rice on the nigiri were little lighter. Amount of rice on the nigiri is killing the taste of sushi. Also, i wish it has more taste from the rice will be whole lot better! It seems they use very light rice vinegar on the rice. Also if you order a sweet shrimp(amebi) sushi, they d
Food is very good quality but service was just OK at best. This place could do so much more business if they pay more attention to their customers and possibly have better decoration. It is just not a place you want to sit an chat. Eat and leave.
First time at this restaurant. Ambiance was great for date night or late evening dinner. We were immediately greeted and seated upon walking through the door. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable with all of our questions on the menu. We ordered a sushi appetizer which came promptly and w
Good place to get sushi. I had the tuna and salmon sashimi and a seaweed salad. All was good. I sat at the sushi bar and the service was OK. It was friday night so they were a little busy.
Had a later (8pm) dinner for two and it was fantastic! Not only was the food delicious, fresh, and made to order but the staff were kind and attentive without being overbearing! The chicken/steak hibachi skillet was fantastic and the salmon roll was especially delicious. Excited to return for lunch
Cozy and intimate atmosphere with phenomenal sushi at reasonable rates! They offer a vast selection of speciality rolls that you don't see at the other sushi restaurants in the area. Everything was fresh and delicious! The service was fast and friendly.
The food was amazing but it was very cold inside
The best Sushi I have had in a long while. The salmon was delicious and unagi was prepared perfectly.
People really talk about other places because they are bigger or "they have bogo!" but people should realize if it's airways bogo it isn't a special or a deal. Hako is run by actual Japanese people and they are true sushi chefs. The food is excellent. The setting is intimate. They make some amazing
Never had anything other than sushi, so can't speak to the rest of the menu. Good rolls, well presented Nigeri, and fairly priced.
Enjoy this place!!!! The ginger chicken is such a delicacy. I had everything on the menu and it was so good. Tried all types of sushi for the first time and now have many favorites. The service is always top notch. We ate here the day of the Super Bowl and virtually had the restaurant to ourselv
Have not found better sushi than here, at Hako in the entire Triangle area. I've literally traveled all over the world and eaten sushi in many countries and cities. This place is in my top 5 of worldwide sushi places I've eaten at. And I've eaten at places where I was only one of two or three non-Ja
This is my go-to restaurant for sushi in Raleigh. I think the quality of the sushi is actually the best in town and I'm surprised by some of the negative food reviews. I give the food 5 stars, the service 4 stars, and the pricing 3 stars for an average of 4. I do think they are over-priced but un
