The food was awesome. Service was great. How have I not known about this place? Was a little warm in the joint but I am going to give that a pass, seeing as how it is like 100 degrees outside. I would highly recommend you stop in.
Great beer selections, awesome menu and staff is on point!! Bartenders and servers are always hustling. Chow has been a personal favorite since we moved to NC in 2012. Love it. Cheers!
Always awesome food and staff. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves a good burger and pizza.
This was my first visit and food was great and our waiter was very helpful. I would definitely go back
The best chicken nachos and awesome staff...thank you, Chow!
Great food, great beer, great service. Had the nachos and they were fantastic.
Excellent service, prices and quality of the food. The homemade potato chips were the best ever and the burgers were awesome.
Delicious food, respectable beer last, and friendly staff! This place makes me so happy. I've never waited long for food or drinks, and is consistently fantastic. I feel like I've found my Mclaren's Pub.
Always have a great experience at CHOW. When everyone knows your name and takes the time to learn the names of others you bring in and use them during the experience adds such a personal touch. CHOW is always at the top of the list when we go out to eat with good reason ! Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience right around the corner. Raleigh might be a large city but I get a wonderful small town vibe each time I visit CHOW !!
Great spot to hold a private event. Terry the manager was extremely helpful with suggestions and kept the food replenished all night. The servers assigned to us were very attentive and I had no problem finding them when I needed something. We had a party of 50+ people and the party room, adjoining patio, and little area right in front of the room all accommodated everyone perfectly.
1 - They not only allow dogs on the patio, they even bring a water bowl for them!
2 - They carry my favorite beer on draught - Red Oak 's Hummin'bird!
3 - They have great pizza!
4 - They have a wedge salad!
Simple....caring....employees....excelent service & food......burgers & wings...outstanding.......Good beer selection......the best bartenders in town.....
Great food, great server (Jadon) and great atmosphere!
Chow is a great date night place! It's also a good spot to meet for drinks and apps after golf or getting your nails done.
Chow has the best onion rings- anywhere. Food is freshly prepared and portions are perfect.
(Any burger can be made with grilled chicken instead of beef. They also still make the salad with chicken tenders from the old menu, upon request. )

Nice place for pizza and wings. This time we got their Chow Nachos, Carolina Dry Rub Wings, and Buffalo Chicken Pizza. We loved all of it. The dry rub wings may have been the best I’ve had. We got the brisket and burger too and they were really good. Great spot to watch the game, they have a huge area and nice private dining room. Staff is really attentive when we go.

Stopped in here with a work colleague for a beer and some wings... OMG 😳🥹🤯 The wings, I believe, are smoked. The sauce is fantastic and they're very tender. This is my new wing place ‼️ If I can justify the 30 to 40 minute drive (one way) from the house I will come down into Raleigh to get these wings every time‼️
Everything was so good I ended up ordering a pizza and a meatless burger for my wife and I have for dinner. Meh, the pizza was good, the burger was decent. Not their fault a lot of food doesn't travel well especially if it's going 35 - 45 minutes.
Again excellent food, excellent atmosphere, excellent service. If you haven't been here you should go 💯‼️ If you've been here before why didn't you tell me about it ⁉️ 🫣😁😎
Had my first overdue visit which my only disappointment was that I haven't tried them sooner. Their menu has a great variety from pizza to salads to wings to sandwiches and more... They have a great variety of beers and drinks as well. Our servers Casey and Will were terrific with their recommendations. The brisket sandwich was absolutely amazing from the perfectly buttered and toasted bread to the crisp pickles and juicy brisket with just the right amount of barbeque sauce and melted cheese. The wings were crispy and crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The Carolina dry rub was absolutely the best dry rub I think I have ever had on wings. The onion rings were breaded and fried to perfection. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the Cobb salad which I will have to take her word for it but I think the best compliment I can give is that my son, the pickiest eater of all which never finishes a meal, polished off his entire meal of grilled cheese and sweet potato fries. My meal was washed down with a couple of delicious brews. Can't wait to come back and try more of their menu.
This place is great. The service and food is really good. They have the BEST smoked buffalo chicken wings! Such a treat! Their kids menu is decent but a lot of fun! Lots of games and puzzles on it, it keeps my 4yo occupied for a while. The pizza is decent, the crust is top notch. I have never had a bad meal, and sometimes I'm hard to please as i have a culinary background. Lastly, ample outdoor seating! If you're covid conscious, this is a place you need to check out. I'm going to reiterate, the smoked wings are AMAZING!
The atmosphere was nice. The food was good. I ordered the habenero pineapple chicken wings and all I could taste was firey burning pepper. The pineapple taste and flavor was missing. The fries were super short in length, not sure what happened there. On the order hand, I loved the onion rings and my boyfriend loved his juicy burger. The prices were decent and staff were nice and friendly. Overall experience was good. I would visit again.
We sat there for almost 25 minutes before we got waited on. The waitress finally came over and said they had a new host and she did not tell her we were sitting there. They were also short of Cooks and they were very busy. Once we got our drinks and food we had a great experience and she did apologize for the long wait.
Chicken pesto pizza was excellent!! My wife enjoyed her pepperoni pizza. We got there an hour before closing and the service was great. Second time coming here and we will be back again!
I've been here a few times with family and friends and the food and atmosphere is consistently outstanding. Last night we went to watch the Canes game and Terry greeted us at the door and sat us at one of the best tables in the place even though most of our group wouldn't arrive for another hour. Every request we made was handled quickly and with a smile. We asked if the sound for the game could be turned on and it happened within a minute. The nachos, order the nachos!!
Nice place our first time eating here. Wife loved the tacos and I enjoyed my classic burger. The onion rings were delicious! Waitress was great!
Great great great food and very friendly staff and the service is good too.
There wings are one of the best wings I ever had if not the best.
The burgers are even more delicious I had the one with pimento cheese and fried green tomatoes. there drinks prices are average and they have special on beer almost everyday.
Long story short it's a must go to place in Raleigh.
I’m here so often I refer to it as “my office” and yet I’ve never reviewed it!
Pizza, wings, burgers, tacos; well done pub grub with some twists. Nicely curated craft beer selection and knowledgeable bartenders. Monday beer and a burger is a steal.
The staff is always top-notch and the restaurant is very well managed. Be aware that it can get quite busy on Thursday (trivia) and weekend nights so expect a wait.
Some arcade games for kids. Outdoor seating and an event space are available.
I like this place! Laid back atmosphere, lots of TV's to watch sports games. I LOVE their gluten-free pizza options which are affordable, because you know some places are charging like $20 for a GF personal pizza these days. Anyway, I got the burger and fries this time. It was good. The fries were seasoned well, they reminded me of the fries from Orange Julius, which I would visit when I was a kid. Anybody remember?
The service was pleasant but not fully up to the norms of the job. She brought the wine, but did not pour a tasting, much less fill our glasses. The bottle and two glasses were just left on the table for us to take care of ourselves. After we finished the salads, we moved the bowls to the side of the table because they were just left there where the plates for the pizza would need to go. The waitress came to the table twice and did not remove the obviously empty salad plates. Pleasant, but not truly caring.
The Cobb Salad was fantastic. Best part of the experience. Perfect sliced avecado and plenty of it. The bacon was great, a bunch of it, finely chopped and lean. Oh wow, the blue cheese was out of this world, powerful flavor but creamy feel. All this was enhanced by a balanced vinegarette.
The chicken & pesto pizza was a letdown for a restaurant that bills itself as a "Pizza Bar." The toppings covered only the center half to two-thirds of the pizza. Even that was a little lightly done. The outer part of the crust might have been brushed with some oil and a sprinkling of cheese, but that's it. The pesto sauce base should be easily doubled (or more). Basically, the pizza was very dry. The crust itself was a knockout: thin and bubbly, crispy yet chewy.
I'm struggling giving this place four stars: Service 3, Pizza 3, Salad 5. So I'm rounding up, and there you have it.
