We had moved our son into his apartment at NC State, and grabbed a quick dinner before heading back home. It’s definitely a bar environment, but the food? Wow! We ended up going late, but the portions, the ingredients, and the taste were spot on. You’re gonna think this is silly, but they had to be the best french fries I’ve had anywhere! I love when they put the crispiness on the outside, these were cooked perfectly. The salads were simple, we had regular and Greek, great dressing, very flavorful. My sons calzone was huge! He said it tasted great as well. He said that it was going to be one of his favorite spots to eat. Just a reminder when you go in you have to order upfront and then try to find a seat. We grabbed a table in the back, but there was plenty of outdoor seating, and it was all covered. Cannot wait to try the wings, maybe a Philly cheesesteak next time. Oh, and they had a 97 score, which was great!

It's a cozy little joint, with good food. I'd definitely go back if I was in the area and craving a New York style. Garlic knots needed more garlic, but they were still delicious and crunchy yet soft inside. The pizza was giant and very good, I couldn't even finish the two slices I ordered. Also shout-out to the chef making the pizzas the night I went, he was kind enough to make me another slice after I left my to go box on the table.

I went with my daughter to try Ruckus Avent Ferry Road for the first time. With so many great pizza joints in Raleigh it’s hard to know. A cross between a neighborhood bar and a student bar, Ruckus has seriously good pizza. What’s more, they care. When our pizza was delivered, the manager (I believe he was a manager) said he made ours with one minor wrong ingredient—white instead of red onions. He apologized and immediately made a complete new pizza with the correct ingredients. He apologized again and made sure we were happy. You can’t discount this kind of service. It’s rare these days and greatly appreciated. The beer was cold. The salad was fresh and the pizza was excellent. I will return to Ruckus and recommend Ruckus for adults too.

Amazing Food and Drinks. Outstanding service even short staffed they took the time to acknowledge us and everyone worked as a team. The menu had so many options, we tried a little bit of everything and shared.Picture of the Tuna Nachos, a must try

Visiting from out of state and was wanting some pizza, we decided to stop here and we are so glad we did! For the price, the amount of food you get is awesome! We got the 18” ultimate and it was huge. Would recommended to anyone 10/10

Super friendly people and delicious food! Great atmosphere here and will definitely stop by next time I'm in the area. I saw a sign advertising a 24inch pizza challenge and so we ordered a 24inch pizza to scope it out. It is massive and I've got no chance to finish it alone.

Never had any bad food here!
I personally enjoy the Phillies and the pizza.
It's a full bar, with some good beers.
It is smaller than you would think inside the place, but the crowd is usually friendly. They have a large patio area.
The service is always on their game, friendly, polite, efficient.

Great place for an inexpensive delicious meal. Pizza slices as big as your face, fries crispy as anything, delicious drinks. The staff is friendly and the events are always fun. Great place to watch the Canes! Their rewards system is top notch as well. Couldn't ask for more.

Really love this place. The staff was on point tonight. The guys making our pizza were nice. The bartenders were really nice. Currently, Brian Jones does a cool open mic on Tuesdays. Everyone sounded great. We had a great time.

Very good! Fast service. I’ve only visited the Cary location so this is a different format. You order at the front and food is brought to you. I enjoyed it. Not much seating inside. Outside seating options are available. No sushi on the menu which makes me prefer the Cary location. I had the wings. Pretty good. I’d come again but prefer the other format. Full bar with bar seating was available.

We have enjoyed Ruckus Pizza for many years. You can get the largest pizza here - 24 inches. Pizza is so big they cut it in squares. All the ones in the middle are perfect for your kid that does not like the crust. The garlic knots are delicious. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. There is another Ruckus in Cary and the pizza from the Avent Ferry location is by far and above better. It must be the oven. You can order ahead so it is ready when you arrive. The interior is a typical bar near a college. Fairly dark. There is a canopy outside with seating. Located in a shopping center so plenty of parking.

It's a wonderful place to chill with friends or alone. Needed a lively place to work on a paper around midnight. They have a nice fireplace outside along with a huge flat screen to view the world cup too!
The ruckus chicken pizza was amazing!

I love this place. Apart from the pizzas being awesome the best thing about this place is the staff. The place has a very nice homely feel to it and the people make you sure that you have a very good time. The price is very reasonable compared to the quantity and quality. We usually order a 24 inch and 18 inch for a group of 6 and still manage to take a lot of leftovers. Will definitely visit again :)

The Mission Valley location’s friendly dive energy sets it apart. Whereas the other Ruckus restaurants offer table service and larger dining areas, at the original Ruckus folks order at the front counter or from the staff behind the shotgun bar populated by regulars seven days a week. With strict space limitations the kitchen performs in outstanding fashion, often slammed. I have seen hundreds of guests interact with the folks who made their food and it puts a smile on everyone’s face. The bar staff is second to none, making first-time visitors and out-of-towners vow to come back. Tuesday and Wednesday are often busier than Friday and Saturday nights, thanks to exceptional Open Mic & Trivia hosts — and the fact it’s the kind of spot where service industry vets take shelter after long shifts. The original Ruckus is the most unassuming hole in the wall shopping center bar/pizza place you would ever like to know. Order a slice, a beer, and a shot.
