Piccola Italia - Raleigh - Photo album

The food here is amazing especially the pizza. I've been coming here since I was in high school fast forward 20 years later and I am still getting my pizza to go, the owner and his family are the sweetest.
We enjoyed Piccola Italia for our anniversary. They start you with a bread plate served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I prefer it personally without BV, but it was still delicious. We chose Chicken Picatta and a Chicken Penne dish. I subbed my penne on the Picatta for angel hair. Every single
It was a warm Saturday evening, we wanted to try a new pizza spot and had never been here. Upon entry we noticed they had some memorabilia showing they have been around since the early 80s. They had plenty of seating inside and out. We were sat right away and were helped quickly. They have various
The food and service were both fantastic! The location was also great, as was the ambiance of the restaurant. Their menu has a lot of great gluten free and vegetarian options to choose from as well. If you go during lunch, like we did, you'll hand to order a dinner sized portion of the pasta as you
Had a going away party for a dear co worker here on a Wednesday night. We were graciously accommodated for a group of 10 with separate checks! Our waiter Daniel was the epitome of perfection, so attentive and kind. The food and wine were superb! I’ve eaten here with my spouse as well in a weekend.
This place always always always rocks. Good food. Cool atmosphere. Service is always solid. Owners are local. And just a good go to place. Can’t go wrong Coming here. And very nice place to bring your group” for a night out. Local place that’s been around since early 80’s. In Cameron village so good
Food is excellent. Gluten free options include pizza and pasta. The gluten free pizza I tried is amongst the best I have had. Sandwiches and other items were also amazing. Cappuccino was also good. Overall, a pleasant experience indeed and would visit again.
I took the large pizza and it was very very big, the taste is nice the ingredients are good quality the wine was on point, I’ll give the overall experience 8/10 …. Definitely recommend for a nice wine and dine dinner
Delicious food, kind & attentive waiter, enjoyable atmosphere. We came here on a Friday evening and we’re seated right away. I love how the waiter was so personable and the pizza was some of the best pizza I have ever had. I would absolutely come here again. We all left very satisfied!
Piccola Italia has been a Raleigh establishment since 1982. I remember coming here since I was a little girl so I had to make this review longer than usual to do justice. It's authentic, traditional home-cooked Italian food at its best and the owner Frank, true to his Italian roots, always asks me a
Pictured is the Creamy Basil Pesto pasta bowl with penne and sliced Italian sausage. It was delectable along with the Eggplant Bruschetta. The service was quick and friendly. Highly recommend as a delicious quick bite or pizza before heading over to the comedy club.
My family LOVES Piccola Italia! Mr. Amata remembered that my parents always drove in for my birthday and has checked in about my Mom since my Daddy died. Genuinely great people. The food is AMAZING! My favorite Italian restaurant. (BEST french fries in Raleigh too.) Sometimes he brings us something
The lasagna and pasta fagioli soup and bread. It was honestly some of the best Italian I’ve ever had. That combined with a warm and well lit atmosphere made for a great meal. We will definitely return.
This is the best place for authentic Italian food. Natasha is the most beautiful and talented restaurateur. She always delivers fantastic service and food. The spaghetti and meatballs are to die for. The pizza is divine. The wine choices are fantastic. The desserts are heavenly. If I could I wo
Food is quite good, and the staff are friendly. They remodeled not long ago, and while I don't think the new look is as good it is definitely nice. I am most happy they got rid of the TVs recently, where they seemed to be leaning into a sports bar vibe or something.
