To the person(s) in the kitchen 🗣️ “I LOVE YOU!!!” Everything is usually pretty good, but today everything is BUSSIN *my daughter’s voice*. Impressed much. Thanks again y’all!

Wow! I ordered the chicken tortilla soup and it was the best I've ever had. Went with coworker and he had three tacos. Fish, beef and pork belly. I had two tacos, the spicy short rib and the pork belly. Both were delicious but the pork belly absolutely stood out. Smokey and tasty. Each bite was a party in my mouth.

We had a great impromptu lunch here! Popped in for a bite and the hostess sat us quickly. Server was friendly, professional, pleasant and overall really great. Food was delicious too, guac chips and salsa all great we ate it so fast we forgot to take a picture. Will be back next time we are in town!

Decent tex-mex with some untraditional spins. Hard, soft corn, flour and lettuce are available for tacos. The side salad was a nice mix of flavors with apple and poblano pepers. Oh, the "good" fries are skinnier and have rosemary on them.

Went on a week night with a big party and, although busy, was able to be seated immediately. Nice outdoor seating. Good service. Highly recommend goat cheese guacamole, spicy margarita and anything with short rib. Definitely will be back.

First time here. Drinks were cold!! Cheese dip was awesome. Short ribs tasted great. I did have a few fatty pieces in the nachos is why I have a 4 stars.

This place is great! Although I got a brisket quesadilla that was burnt on the bottom. The margarita and the service were very good. The atmosphere is incredibly difficult to hear anyone at your table.

I had a dinner with family here and the food and service was very friendly. I ordered the Short Rib tacos and had the chorizo queso which were both tasted great. Would totally recommend for any lunch or dinner meeting.

Place was over all ok . Very nice staff and good service but my food first time around was cold my burrito with short rib was good but cold and so was my side . Our waiter was very nice and happily gave me a new meal which was hot . But queso was very plain and some ingredients in my burrito were cold that I felt maybe shouldn’t be like shredded cheese and beans were cold ? It’s probably just how they make it I’m just not a big fan of how it was made . Honestly was better when I reheated it the next day . Not a bad place to try but everyone I asked about the place before hand had the same experience with the food .

My partner and I had such a great time! This was our first time here. Matti and Jenna were our servers and they was great. Very attentive and answered all the questions we had.
When we first arrived there was a short wait of 20 mins and the restaurant has a texting service to let you know when your table is ready. The inside was busy when we arrived so we waited outside. The restaurant ended up turning on the heater outside since it was cold and they came over with chips and salsa.
We both ordered tacos (shrimp, catfish, and chicken). ALL of them were great. Matti sent a slice of tres leches over and that was really good also. We were stuffed from chips, salsa and queso so we didn’t finish it.
We have now added this to our favorite places to eat in Raleigh. We look forward to coming here again
**also, all the tables are spaced apart due to COVID-19. The staff also wear masks.

Cantina 18 has a great space and incredible food! You can’t go wrong with anything you order, and will enjoy the atmosphere no matter what part of the restaurant you sit in. Great staff too, always super friendly!

Service was great; friendly and efficient. Chips, salsa, and guacamole were excellent. Didn't love the grilled chicken nachos; not enough bbq sauce and overall was a bit bland for my taste, but my partner enjoyed them. Nice indoor and outdoor seating options.

I'm very happy that they are Celiac-friendly and can provide gluten free dishes. I really enjoyed my steak fahitas with corn tortillas, and corn chips with GF queso!

The chicken and shrimp tacos were excellent, but the beef taco was hella weak. The beef itself had horrible flavor, and the cheese and slaw were extremely dry. Being as beef tacos are the most common it should have been the easiest to get right. The ambiance is great and the music selection was wonderful (because i love Bob Marley), but I keep reliving the taste of that beef taco.

Cantina 18 is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is fresh and locally sourced. I have a dairy allergy and can run into trouble at restaurants. I have never had a reaction from food prepared at Cantina. They are very careful with their food prep.

Love this place! Absolutely the best guacamole dip on the planet! I don't even like guacamole and I could eat my weight in this! Great service, great atmosphere and reasonable prices. Food is always delicious. Shrimp tacos are my fav!

Excellent food! Nice evening seating upstairs with the windows open was a nice touch. Reasonable price. The chips and queso were great but my chicken quesadilla was outstanding. We definitely go again.

I loved the open patio doors and tall ceilings and urban decor, but the food is what makes this restaurant ah-ma-zing! We ordered the queso fondido for an appetizer. It paired chorizo and pineapple to the queso for a yummy dip. My favorite entree of the 5 we ordered at our table was the black beans and avocado nachos. Served in a cast-iron skillet with generous portions of avocado, this dish was delicious. We added the tinga chicken to the nachos because our vegetarian daughter wasn't with us, but I think it would be great either way.

We had a private event in the back room upstairs. The staff was super accommodating, and the room was perfect. The atmosphere was exactly what our group needed! The food and drinks were priced right for our group! We will be back every month!

Food was ok, but nothing special. Service was extremely slow. We got our drinks right away but weren't even given a menu for about 10 minutes. I'd like to be able to tell you they were busy and the waitress was hustling which would be understandable, however that would be a lie.
Don't go here if you're on your lunch break unless you have unlimited time.

Had an amazing experience! The food was fresh delicious. The staff was awesome and gave us a complimentary desert when we told them this was our first time eating here. We are definitely going back, this is my new favorite restaurant!
