Taqueria Arandas Restaurant

The food was excellent and ready for pickup promptly. I had Enchiladas and my wife had the el pastor meat with corn tortillas. We enjoyed both dishes. The building looks uninviting from the outside but don't judge this book by its cover. Inside it is remarkably nice...but we got carryout because we had a other location to eat at.

First time trying them out. I ordered for pick-up. The steak was literally burnt. Burnt little chucks of carne asada. I'm glad i asked for green sauce because i wouldn't of had any when i got home. What taco restaurant doesn't give you sauce with your order? On top of it they charged me 25 cent for each sauce. I asked for 3. I didn't mind because i thought they had already provided me some with the order as most places do... the sauce wasn't that great either..total joke The rice was dry and bland. Beans where whatever. I enjoyed the can of sprite igot from there the most. Total pregnancy craving FAIL. I'm in the middle of moving and have nothing in the fridge at new house, and i was starved so i just ate the meal. Disappointed is an understatement.

Carryout only but if you are feeding 4 people do yourself a favor and order the parrillada with shrimp for 2 people. A large platter filled with chicken, thinly slice short ribs, chorizo, thinly slice pork, shrimp, thinly sliced potatoes, grilled onions, and grilled peppers. Oh wait you also get 2 quesadillas, rice, beans and a side salad. So good!!

Price was VERY reasonable and the food was incredibly good! Service could have been better, it was difficult to get the attention of any of the multiple staff members when we were ready to be seated, ready to order, or needed other items like drink refills despite being at a table right near the front counter and eating at a slow time in the early afternoon with only a few other customers there. Food quality and value for the money made up for it!
