16c Restaurant

This is an all around great restaurant. The pizza is not the usual suspect - it’s creative, artisanal, and far better than anything in the area. However, this place is not all about pizza - there is a great selection of entrees. The menu is tight as far as the number of selections go - but this works well for them as they put a lot of energy into making sure that the plates come out of the kitchen perfectly. You will find something on the menu for everyone. Some of my favs are - Pepperoni Pizza (probably the best you’ll have anywhere) - Quiet Man Steak Tips and the Pan Roasted Half Chicken is super juicy! There is a very comfortable bar with fantastic service and makes for a great place to have dinner. Try the Crianza by the glass ... it’s soooo good if your a red wine fan. The staff is fantastic/friendly and engaging. Oh and very kid friendly - solid kids menu ! If you have a bad meal here ... it’s probably just you ... because it’s very hard to have a bad meal here!

I previously reviewed this restaurant one of the must places to go in Quincy. Unfortunately my friends and I walked out of the restaurant after 30 minutes of waiting. It was a day where a group of friends was excited to try out 16C visiting from Connecticut as well. Kinda embarrassing to even recommend this restaurant in the first place. Anyway long story short the service was horrendous. We had one blonde waitress who had the audacity to stared at us when we were waiting to be served. We had a brunette waitress next to the table we were sitting talking to another customer for 30 minutes without even acknowledging to take our order. My friends and I eventually settled for Tavern in Quincy, which is a shame for 16C because earlier this year I gave it a high rating praising the quality of their food and solid service. The food at 16C is definitely one of the must places to go for American food, but unfortunately I will give them a 1 out of 5 rating on this second outing. This happened on a Thursday night May 28th around 9pm.
