Don’t be afraid to try new places and we highly recommend this place. Don’t expect a fancy atmosphere, yet when you walk in you smell all the spices of the Indian culture (fabulous). What you can expect is humble, attentive, and simplistic service. We tried the Bloody Mary which was slightly on the salty side but still very pleasant and the oatmeal cookie martini which was strong but very delightful. The appetizers we had were the Samosas with three different kinds of sauces; plum, cilantro and chili. They all have very different flavors yet we encourage to try all 3 so you get the full experience. We love the butter chicken and they allow you to pick from the spice level you can tolerate 1 being almost none to 5 being those who love heat! Our meal came with the rice and we ordered a side of the Garlic Naan (you have to order the Garlic Naan it’s to die for). This place is one place you should not pass up!

This place has terrible service and terrible food. There aren't many Indian restaurants from Seattle on the way to Rainier, but that does not give this place an excuse for bad service and poor quality food. We ordered some curries, naans, lemon mint water (nimbu paani), and papad. The server had only two plates for us and took forever to get the third plate. The nimbu paani never came. The papad and naans were undercooked and the saag chana didn't look like it had any saag. See some of the photographs. Finally, the server messed up the bill and brought someone else's bill and when I pointed the error, kept looking it over as if I was saying something wrong and then took forever to get the correct bill. This restaurant would get 0 stars for the service and the food. The 1 star is really meant for the decor, which is at least somewhat nice.

Ordered chicken biryani at 2pm to pick up at 6pm. Called before hand for pick up at 5:30 pm. They said 30 mins it will be ready. got there, asked if my order is ready.. They said couple more mins.. i said ok no problem, after 10 mins i asked again if its ready, they said couple more mins and I still waited.. waited about 30-45 mins after I got to the restaurant. Paid 175 dollars for this thing they call it biryani.. Mushy and disgusting.. so overall , time wasted, new year dinner ruined, and money wasted..

Really nice people and great service. The food was great too. never had Indian food before, mostly Thai. it's really close. so if you like Thai, then try any dish with Lamb. I did a 2 like I always do at a new place. 2 was not spicy at all. But it was not Bland. I will do a 3 or 4 next time. yes we are going back. it was that good. the Garlic Naan bread is a great addition to your dinner. I also had a butterscotch Martini and a Happy Face. The drinks are well made and tastey. Next time I'm going to get a driver so I can taste more of the martinis.
