On the peace river, that contain a beautiful bird sanctuary for wounded birds. Small beach with plenty of shelters and benches. Can watch boats of all types exiting and entering the river. The mangrove walkways leads one into a different world filled with birds and little creatures.
A quaint park that was unusually empty for how nice it was. We stopped on our way to see the sunset and it was beautiful! There's a ledge to sit on and all the people here were very nice!
Love this park! We bring our jetskis over… we bring our friends over… we have date evenings to watch the sunset. Just beautiful.

Nice and cool today 1/6/22. Several people doing lots of different things like walking, biking, fishing, picture taking, sun bathing, and launching boats. Wild life information center there to visit, and a small play area for kids. It was nice and relaxing to just walk around. No beach but a sm
Beautiful view of what I know as Charlotte Harbour. One can watch the boats from Punta Gorda Isles. There is a seawall that has a beach area to sun yourself. An extremely enjoyable outing for the whole family. The food at the the old Spanish mill is incredible and making the pancakes is a highlight. Though they will cook them for you it seems they taste even better when you put in the work!!
