Always a highlight of our trips to Punta Gorda to see family. You'll want to eat until you burst. Great food, great drinks, live music, great atmosphere. My only complaint they are understaffed and can hardly keep up with customer demand, but I guess that's anywhere. The staff they do have work hard.

Our first visit here for a lunch date.
My beautiful Bride had the Bratwurst sandwich with a side of Red Cabbage. $11.
I chose to try the lunch buffet for $16.
In included Schnitzel with Jägerschnitzel (mushroom gravy), warm German Potato Salad, Spaetzle Dumplings, Goulash and some various Rye bread slices.
It all was very good.
For dessert we shared Warm Strudel with a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream. 👍👍
We enjoyed the food and environment very much. We will return again for another lunch date. 😍
Service by Nick and Heather was very good.
There buffet menu changes from day to day.

Great experience. Wait staff was excellent and food was great. Food portions are large and food is very delicious. Will definitely be spending more time here especially for October Fest...My favorite drink was the Old Fashioned with German honey whiskey..

Amazing food, drinks, and staff. Every positive review about this place is true. We tried the fried Brie with fresh strawberries and cream and it was delicious. The margarita had fresh strawberries and blueberries and was extremely refreshing. The beef tips were tender and we got to listen to live music while eating. The plum dessert was light and hit the spot. They offer a buffet and we will try that the next time we are in. It’s a wonderful local place to stop in and eat at where the staff will treat you very well.

We were looking for authentic German food and we found it! The food was amazing! The music was so fun, and the staff was superb. Our server was Anne and she was very attentive and Anne Marie the hostess danced with us! We had a fantastic time! The owner Sandra also came and said hello a few times. Totally recommend!

We had the weißwurst, spätzel, tomato & mozzarella sandwich, and finished with an amazing apfelstrüdel 🤤
The weißwurst was juicy and full of flavor. The bierkäse with the spätzel was SO good! And the strüdel ... Tender pastry, full of flavor.

My husband and I have been searching for "authentic" German cuisine since returning from our trip to Germany/Austria last year. Unfortunately we're in an area of the country that doesn't have much to offer. On our recent visit to his parents in Bradenton FL, I was looking to see what was in the area. I saw the appetizer Flammkutchen. We'd had that at Heidelberg Castle, and I've not seen it on any other German restaurant menu. So, I said that's the one we're going to try! I can say it was absolutely worth the 45 minute drive!!!! We brought his parents with us, and of course they loved the food too. But for my husband and I it brought back such fun memories of spending 2.5 weeks in Germany & Austria. Thank you for an enjoyable evening! We'll come back for sure and we'll plan it when you have live music 😁
