Good food, friendly & accommodating staff! Enjoyable atmosphere. My husband & I really enjoyed the selection of food on the menu! We highly recommend this place to eat if you are looking for something a little different.
Hands down, one of our favorite places to eat! Not only is this the best restaurant in Pueblo, it's the best Thai food you'll find east of the Pacific. We've been to Thailand and it was equally good! The owner (chef, cook, chief bottle washer, etc.) Gan, is from Thailand and her meals are as authentic as they get. Most of her recipes come from home, made with love and the wisdom of her mom. Our favorite - panang or pumpkin curry. Or maybe it's her Tiger Cried Salad (marinated spicy beef on a bed of lettuce). Or, her Laab or Pad Thai! No, I think it's her garlic chicken or Thai basil. Apparently, everything is our favorite here! This is worth a detour of the highway! On Hwy 50 W Next to the Safeway in Pueblo West! Tell Gan "The Girls" sent you!
The Pad Thai noodles were great. I have several allergies and ordered the bean thread noodles...excellent!
Fantastic food, fast and friendly service...3 spicey definitely has some zip to it...highly recommended
Justfinished up some chicken pad see ew and veggie spring rolls, washed down with hot jasmine tea. My wavering faith in the good-eats scene in Pueblo has been restored. Very tasty! They have soft shell crabs right now, too. I never developed a taste for them, but they're a rare treat!
Perfection!. My wife and I absolutely love this place!!!!!!!!!
Great Pad Thai!. When you look at the restaurant from the parking lot you don't think much of it. As you walk in the door you get the impression that the restaurant is low-key and quaint.
Which it is.
But the food...?
The food is not.
The food is anything but low-key.
It is a wonderful and refreshing perspective on Thai food.
Especially if you're used to Americanized "Thai" food (Noodles & Company, anyone?).
Now, I've only tried two dishes form this restaurant, but I feel that is enough to know that the rest of the menu is quite promising.
Perusing the menu you can find lots of familiar Thai foods, curry being a prevalent item.
The first dish I tried was the Bronco Platter (I believe that's the name...), an appetizer.
The way the dish is set up is so simple, yet effective. There were white noodles (rice noodles, perhaps), cut- up peanuts, diced hot pepper, some meat mixture (amazing!), lovely lettuce and some sort of dipping sauce.
It was great finger-food and it made my list of Amazingfully Delicious Appetizers. Yum.
After this little platter, I had high expectations for my upcoming Pad Thai.
I ordered my Pad Thai with chicken and with a Level 4 spiciness. When my Pad Thai finally graced my table I was not disappointed. It was a nice medium-sized oval dish filled with noodles, meat and other delectable goodness. And thankfully, they put peanuts and a lime slice on the side. My first bite was everything I could hope for and more. It had a perfect balance of sweet and savoury (more savoury than sweet) and a nice little bite to it, although it wasn't as spicy as I had hoped.
That was one of thee best meals I've had in a while and I can hardly wait to go back to this restaurant.
It has given me hope that Pueblo does have little gems hidden in the city.
The prices aren't too bad, and this is coming from a college student.
