Mount Fuji Japanese Steakhouse

We went for my son's birthday and even with arriving within an hour of closing we weren't rushed and the server took his time with us. The food was delicious. The drinks were a little pricey but still fantastic. We will be returning for sure. Perhaps for one of their hibachi "shows" the people in the other room sounded like they were having the time of their life. Pictured closest is a steak teriyaki bento. Came with soup and a California roll.

We called ahead to reserve a seat. When we arrived we were told it would be a twenty minute wait for hibachi. We were directed to wait at the bar and they would come get us when the table is ready. They seated four other groups prior to us. We had to leave the bar after thirty minutes of waiting. The lady acted as if she didn't forget about us. Then it took us another forty minutes to get a chef. The food was decent. The prices are average. They neglected to recognize our birthdays while celebrating 🎉🥳 everyone around us. Our service from Edgar was great but otherwise I was completely disappointed by this evening. Horrible first impression!

Our family of 4 celebrated daughter’s birthday there, we did the hibachi dinner which was delicious. The chef was not as entertaining as previous experiences there but not too bad. Almost did not realize that 20% gratuity was already included on bill till we looked closer cause we thought we had been overcharged (not sure if this is always the case as recommended gratuity is also printed below) we always tip cook and waiter in person too. Overall ok night and kids enjoyed food and experience.

I went for my 30th birthday with 10 other people and sat at the hibachi grill. We waited 30 minutes after our reservation time to be sat ( no biggie). We waited another 45 minutes for the hibachi chef to even walk over. The hibachi chef named Kevin was SO UNDERWHELMING. When I come to hibachi, it is to be entertained to a certain degree…. After he finished he just pulled down his shirt pocket to expose a wad of money, as a way of asking for a tip. Terribly rude if you ask me….. we still tipped the man obviously but what a way to ask! One of my friends didn’t get hibachi and ordered off the menu and we had to go looking for it ! Terrible hibachi experience, if you’re looking for a good hibachi go somewhere else. Will not be returning. At least the food and drinks tasted good, which is why I give it 3 stars. But terrible customer service.
