same delicious, high quality food! it’s not just a take away establishment. order some food, a bottle of wine and enjoy your meal alfresco there! many tables and seating.
The food was amazing. The goat cheese appetizer was great! We sat outside, and it was incredibly pleasant. It would be a great date night place to have dinner and sip some wine.
Good food, excellent service with Wesley, as our server. He was great to make suggestions that thrilled our palate. Atmosphere is a bit disappointing but it's cold & dreary. I'm sure it's better in better weather when garage doors are open. Worth a visit. Check it out.
The pasta is delicious here. My husband and I usually stick to our regular restaurants but we were drawn in to Mercato's for their Mangia Monday special. Mangia Monday is $10 for the pasta of the day and a glass of wine.
The pasta we had last night was freshly made pasta with carmelized onions, peppers, and their house blend sausage. It was so good! Their daily menu looks amazing, there were so many things that we wanted to try. We really enjoyed this restaurant and will definitely come back to try some of their other menu items such as the gnocchi, their pork chop entree, etc.
Eight friends went for dinner tonight and it was amazing from beginning to end! Exceptional food, drink, service and atmosphere! Our server, Emma was awesome! The owner/chef was out several times to check on folks. He obviously loves what's he's doing and his customers. We had fried green tomatoes, arugula salad, squid ink pasta, braised short rib ravioli and limoncello cake with coffee. I had a martini and wine. Everything was wonderful! You will NOT regret dinner at Mercato! Five stars in every way!
Came here for dinner last Friday, it was absolutely phenomenal! We sat at the bar with Christina who we found out wasn't the bartender but the general manager. She was amazing. She suggested the most delicious ravioli I've ever had and even the cocktail I had with it. My date got the salmon and it was so great I stole more than just a bite. The hostess was fine but a little curt, the rest of the staff that we saw were friendly. This was by far my favorite experience eating out and at a bar seat. My family owns a restaurant and we could use a manager like Christina, poaching her is not an unreasonable idea, so don't be surprised if I come back to try to steal her.
This was the best restaurant experience my wife and I had on our trip to Louisville. Not only was the food delicious but, the way the staff accommodated us was above and beyond anything we could've hoped for. From the hostess to the owner everyone stopped by and ensured we were having the best possible dinning experience. I look forward to going back to Louisville in part of my desire to go here again.
