Wife and I really enjoy Contee to eat everything on the menu is excellent. Last evening we were invited by our investment company Pathways Investments in Prince Frederick. It was an amazing evening with open bar amazing food and meeting new people. Each room in the restaurant was a different station, there was shrimp and grits and mix veggies, bolognese seafarers salad and gnocchi with mushrooms, 70lb hunk of beef and fries, and upstairs was chicken tenders a slaw and crab balls and for dessert there was flourless chocolate cake bread pudding and homemade ice cream sandwiches. Everything was delicious Heritage does an outstanding job hosting an event. If you’re looking for a place stop in and talk to someone I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. What an amazing meal to say the least with incredible service. Started out with Deviled Eggs topped with bacon that just melted in your mouth. For the entree my wife had Sicilian meat loaf that included ham and cheese which was incredible as I had to steal some. It was Burger night so when in Rome do as the Roman's do so I ordered the Cowboy Burger. This burger was topped with so much mouth watering pork it could have been a sandwich unto itself. The bacon was crisp and the burger was oozing flavor. Ended the night with an Apple Crisp topped with a brown sugar ice cream that was to die for. I'll tell you about how delicious the drinks were next time as this now my go to restaurant. Best new restaurant in Southern Maryland.

This was our first visit to this restaurant and, WOW! The only thing better than the food was the service. Angelina was our server and she was adorable! She made sure we had everything we wanted and made the experience very enjoyable. The flavor of the food was a surprise as well. We tried the Cantonese Cauliflower and it was amazing! We will definitely be back!

Overall great place place for hosting a large dinner party, great service and great food. Love the southern charm and feel of this historic house and restaurant. It's very well decorated both inside and out. Just recently celebrated my mom's 60th Birthday with family and friends. The owner David and his staff were very accommodating and set us up in a private room with 16 guests. The staff ensured we were well taken care throughout the night. We ordered appetizers, entrees and few bottles of wine. I will definitely be making another visit in the future. Thanks for making the celebration memorable.

We had such a lovely time there tonight. Came from dc to visit friends that live in the area. Drinks were good, I've had better negronis in my life, but the rest n(old fashioned and a rum drink were very good) We had couple of starters, the cauliflower was great, the cheese and cold cuts plate was great, esp that green cheese, as well as the deviled eggs. For mains we had a sloppy joe (great) A burger (really really good) And a steak (rib eye, perfectly done) We also had a couple of deserts, the bread pudding - amazing and the oreo cheese cake that was just on point. Great place really nice location, wish it was close so we could come more often. Highly recommended!

I came here for the first time for a rehearsal dinner last week. Our server was amazing and she was very on top of everything. She made sure everyone had a drink if she saw an empty glass, she was very well versed in the cocktail menu and the food. She had a very cheerful disposition and looked like she enjoyed her job. The food was filling and generously portioned. I took half my fried chicken home for lunch the next day. I'm only giving it 4 stars though, as 10 of us came back Saturday morning at 11 for a joint birthday brunch, only to find the place closed, despite what the phone message said. I will still be back though, the food was perfect! Brunch here, followed by wine at Running Hare sounds like a great Saturday to me!

Honestly the BEST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD AT A RESTAURANT!!. Now I'm only 35 years old.... But this takes the Cake pretty easily. From the second we arrived to the moment we walked out the door, service was on point. The food was absolutely amazing. Go to the bar and get the wings for appetizers because that's the only place you can order them. I had the steak. Best green beans and mashed potatoes I have ever tasted. Steak was amazing too, but the plate just went so well together that even the sides we're awesome. The cocktails were really great. Strong for sure like some of the other reviews. Desert was the bread pudding with pistachio ice cream. SAVE ROOM FOR THIS!!!! SO GOOD! It was more like really moist French toast, but it was phenomenal. When we paid and left we were given legitimate home made chocolate chip cookies. If I could give 6 stars, I would ask to give 7. This is the absolute best place I've ever eaten.
