I now live in Presque Isle but when I visited here on vacation my sister and I would frequent Bonanza and we loved it every time! I’m sad to see it closed temporarily and understand why but I do hope it opens again for her next visit so we can return together! Best buffet ever!

There's a reason why Bonanza restaurants are almost nonexistent. The food is beyond horrible. The steak was flavorless, overcooked and not tender. The baked potato would have been okay, but they served it with two large scoops of what tasted like silicone. The salad bar fodder wasn't great either.

Food was ok. Grilled chicken had a weird texture, almost rubbery, looks like grill hasn't been cleaned in years, gross bathroom. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The buffet was clean and had plenty of options.

The closing manager with long braided grey/white hair was extremely rude and unpleasant upon our departure. Our toddler had been taking a minute to get his jacket on in front of the exit door, he was tired and acting like a typical child. We must have been in the managers way and didnt realize. She
