I have to admit, I have not eaten here yet. My daughter eats here 3 times a week and feels that it is in the top 5 restaurants in the prescott region. I stopped in at 10:15 am and they were not seating until 11 am so I took some photos and told them I'd be back. Next time will be March in just 4 weeks so I'll time it better. I'll also edit this review with my own experience.

What a place. 9 of us ordered 22 tapas items and a few deserts. Everything tasted perfect, the service was so attentive and we were out in just under an hour. Incredible! The restaurant was full and live music was playing and we still felt like we had the place to ourselves. What a night. Thank you! We'll be back and we'll be telling our friends.

Arguably one of the best places to dine in Prescott! I highly recommend getting the crab cakes or spinach artichoke dip! I would also recommend making a reservation. Their servers (mine was Cam) are all hard working and definitely deserve to be tipped well.

Wow, this was a surprise off the busy "Whiskey Row - Court House Square". We went because it was close to a Dr. office and went right afterward. It was 98F 100F at 12:30 went we arrived. They only have outdoor dining but it was completely covered by large sycamore trees (and other varieties). The lunch had a large assortment of selections, from elegant sandwiches to other fare with a Mexican flare. The dinner menu looked very good with Tapas selections. A friend recommended this place to us and boy were we pleased. We had a lovely and safe dinner on the deck in front with the gas heater making it warm and comfortable. The Tapas were as good as any we had while traveling in Spain. We also loved our side of Mac and cheese. The staff is being very safe and sensible about COVID too. We observed that the menus were being sprayed and wiped each use and we even saw them turn away a couple that refused to wear a mask ... I went and tipped the host for handling that so politely and professional. This is a great place all around!

I have visited El Gato Azul on 2 separate occasions and have very much enjoyed my experience and the delicious food. Both times we were taken care of by Olivia. Today I made reservations for 3:00 but unfortunately I was not told that they only serve Tapas until 4:30. Olivia took it upon herself to ask the manager if we could order from the lunch menu and we were able to order regular meals. She went above and beyond to take care of us both times. She is a great server and really knows how to take care of her customers!!!

Don’t get me wrong, the food is phenomenal! BUT there is absolutely NO social distancing. In the back where the main area is, this restaurant SHOULD take out 5-6 tables in order to comply with social distancing policies. According to CNN.con, Arizona right now is a National HOTSPOT with the most positive COVID numbers per capita! If they aren’t willing to space people out more appropriately and downsize how many people are able to eat there at once, then close it until you can get it together. I was appalled with how many people were sitting 2-3 feet away from one another while eating—this means people talking, spit coming out and germs floating the air with possible COVID (a LIFE THREATENING VIRUS PEOPLE!) . This was my first time there so I didn’t know what to expect. Again good food but not worth risking my life and possibly end up bringing it to my family or ending up on a ventilator! But then again, Prescott is known to be loosely-goosey with masks and not caring about one another or themselves! So ashamed. What makes this virus so crazy is YOU DO NOT KNOW WHO MAY HAVE IT!!! Phoenix does a much better job of socially distancing costumers in restaurant. El Gato Azul could learn something from Phoenix restaurants (if we have to have restaurants open might as well do what you can to be safe).

Tiny little old building just off downtown Prescott. Great food huge variety. Small plates reasonably priced so u can get 2 or 3 things. Cajun corndogs are delicious
