Review Southern Kitchen Country Buffet - Prattville

The food at Southern Kitchen is very delicious and always hot. I also like the fact that they keep the buffet full and clean. I like the fact that during the week they have the regular items but every day of the week they offer something different as specialty items. The prices to me are extremely fair for a decent meal. The staff members were very friendly and willing to help if needed. The building is very well kept. Always clean!! Very good place to eat.

Food was really good, great salad bar and dessert bar. All staff were friendly and polite. Update: I have stopped going, the quality kept slipping until we went for breakfast one day and it was terrible! Frozen waffles and no pancakes. I just gave up on it, I'm sure my husband will convince me to go sometime.

The customer service was very good. The staff was nice and friendly. The restaurant was very clean. It was about and hour and a half before they closed on a Thursday so they were not very busy but the food bar was fully stocked and most of it was fresh and hot like it should be and they were still rotating old food out with new food. I tried a lot of different things and most of it was very good like home cooking. Over all I gave them 4 stars.

Food is amazing! Tastes great and always hot and fresh! Service is awesome! Very friendly servers and staff. This place deserves a 5 star rating. It is mine and my husband's favorite restaurant. Good variety of food. Place is clean and we'll kept up. I'd recommend this place to everyone. I can't figure out why everyone is giving this place such poor ratings, it is an amazing restaurant! Give it a try if you haven't been there, you won't be disappointed! We have a great time every time we go!

Customer service was great, it went downhill from there. I feel we wasted our money (2 adults/1 child $30) tried a lot of different foods from the buffet. The ham, potato salad, jello and fried green tomatoes were good. The rest of the food tasted bad or was inedible. Don't waste your money, go somewhere else.

3/2018 Quality of food has gone down in the few months that they have been open. Some of the food is not being stirred to keep it fresh. Dessert bar is not fresh prepared, looks like it all comes out of a box. 1/2018 Plenty of options to pick from. Food is good but the food needs to be managed a little better. Service was great.

Worse breakfast buffet I have ever encountered. Will never waste my money here again. 10 am and buffet wad nearly empty. Staff was setting up for lunch at 11 but ignoring already paid and seated breakfast customers. Even got a soft drink order wrong. Don't waste your $12 here.

Wonderful customer service! Very polite staff. Lots of fresh fruit! The "home cooking" actually looked and tasted like it was made in a southern kitchen. Idk if we'll ever be here again as we were just passing through, but if we were to pass through again, we will stop by again.
