Review Carol's Cafe & Deli - Prattville

We had an amazing brunch here. The food is amazing, and the staff are really friendly. The only piece of feedback i would offer the restaurant is to move the milkshake machine to somewhere less disturbing to customers. It’s extremely loud and really distracted us from our brunch. If they moved it to the kitchen, or somewhere they could deaden the sound better, it would be a 10/10 experience.

The food is pretty good and the view and wait staff are incredible. I've been eating at Prattville for decades, i would recommend.

Wow, I was looking for some good homemade food since I've been traveling & have had a lot of bad food lately. The burger I had here was one of the best I've ever had, with lots of possible additions. So fresh, so huge, so visually appealing. I'll be back for breakfast. Also love the quaint Americana ambiance. Made my day. And the homemade pies! Especially boysenberry.

Awesome as always. Had the french toast sandwich, wife had the scramble with no onions and toast. Perfect 👍

The corned beef hash was delicious. Service was a bit slow at first but they were overwhelmed. Lovely staff and great location

We had an excellent lunch at their Sunday special...a great multi-course chicken meal with desert "to kill"!!

Been coming to Carol's for years and it never fails to put a big smile on my face. The food warms the soul and the venue is perfect. Tall trees, a view of the lake all from the outdoor deck. Inside is warm and welcoming. The freshly made pies and the ice cream counter offers something for every sweet tooth. I recommend you give it a try if you are in the area. It's worth the trip.

Can't say enough good about Carol and her crew. Great food. Great setting. Certainly fair prices. We usually arrive by boat and tie up at her private dock. Then sit outside on the deck for a delicious meal.

A waterfront Lake Almanor breakfast and brunch classic, going strong into its 51st year. All the expected diner fare, superbly executed. On Sundays in the summer season they stay open a little later to serve dinner. Prime rib at this place is legendary and must be tasted at least once. You can reliably order anything with roast beef on the menu at any time of day and know that the meat was lovingly prepared in house. For this reason I highly recommend the Italian Dip sandwich, the newest menu item as of 2022. Oh heck, just order whatever looks good. You will not be disappointed!

Carol's offers a truly homemade menu, including house-made breads and baked items. Indoor seating is rustic and charming, and outdoor deck dining offers a great view of Lake Almanor. Everything we've ever had at Carol's has been absolutely delicious.
