This place was amazing. Cheap beer, quality of food was better and cheaper than other restaurants in Poway, and the staff was quick and friendly. Definitely a favorite new spot.
I take my grandson with me quite often and go solo quite often. The food is delicious, the atmosphere cozy and the staff extremely friendly. It's a short walk from my home and I like to walk a lot. Tough to resist stopping in while walking by the place. I've only ordered the fish and chips evening special which is very delicious so I'm sure the other nightly specials are just as tasty. I would highly recommend this place.
Outstanding music and one of the best dance floors in San Diego County. The salad was good, though others felt the meals were too heavy on fried foods. Excellent service, however, and friendly people. I bet we could get 120 people in there with no trouble at all.

The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is great, but the food is out of sight! Everything I've ordered from there has been awesome. Cooked perfectly, generous portions and reasonable prices. Recommend for everyone.
What's great about Mainstream Bar & Grill is how everybody is welcome! There is a great atmosphere and many smiling faces. On Fridays, there are free line-dancing lessons, so bring your friends and family!
We go here almost every Sunday for breakfast and love it! I haven't had anything on the menu that wasn't good. They have a outdoor area that is dog friendly so fido can come too. And the entire staff is friendly, and service is prompt.
Best restaurant in Poway at the moment. Food takes a awhile to get once you order but its well worth the wait. The menu selections and prices are great. Been there 5 times in the past 2 weeks and each time we are even more surprised.
Love that there is a nice place to hear live Country Music, had an awesome time listing to Bud Martin and friends, my brother also has an awesome band called United Country and they would be great, they always bring a crowd for food and drinks and dancing, Chek them out on Facebook.
This is one of my all time favorite places to eat! Servers are so nice and the food is amazingly good! Huge menu and a delicious variety. Go!

My family and I really enjoy this place. We always try to sit in Leslie’s section. She takes great care of us and seems to have a genuine interest in us and she’s easy to talk to. The food is always good and the place is always clean. They also have a New Mexican restaurant open in the back which I have not been to yet but looks great. You can find parking at the front of the restaurant and at the back. Parking in the back may be limited as actual spaces go. There is also covered seating in the rear parking lot. There televisions and heaters if necessary. Mainstream has a large bar seating area as you enter on your left and I believe they still offer a discount on Fireball shots when the Fire Department next door gets a call. There are two sets of bathrooms. One is near the bar and the other is in the back of the restaurant. It’s in the new Mexican restaurant which is attached to Mainstream. I would recommend visiting Mainstream for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Or to catch a sporting event playing on one of their tv’s. They have something for everyone. Enjoy!
We came across this gem while we waited for emergency car service next door. The food was really good but the staff was amazing. Such a breath of fresh air.

Two major things that make a great restaurant, great staff and great food. Mainstream has both. It’s easy to give a review after you’ve had time to think about your dining experience and the interaction with your server. It’s also fair to say that just because any restaurant that would like your opinion, it’s also easy to trash or nitpick it. From the owner down to the dishwasher, they have always gone out of their way making sure we were satisfied. Keep up the great job Mainstream. Montana Chuck
Fun location - week nights are very chill - staff is quite lively, there is a very local feel but they are friendly to everyone.
Live Music is very good, more country in case that matters - but will play a good mix of older music. They have a fantastic bull pen and stage setup out back.
Food is above average - a burrito and melt sandwich were both good (although I wish the sandwich came on I more solid or flavorful bread - the white sub roll was a bit soft and got soggy). Either way - didn't stop me from finishing it!

There were four of us and the servers took great care of us. Our food came out shortly after we ordered and it all tasted great. Everyone was very nice to deal with.
