We met someone for lunch and were seated on the deck. The deck is great and our server was great. Our food was a bit uneven, but mostly very good. Maybe next time I will try one of their burgers, but this time we had fancier fare.
Went for dinner at The Loft last night. Our waitress was great and the food was delicious. I had the black bean burger. It was spicy but with the pineapple & mango salsa on it, it was just right. The fries were awesome too. My boyfriend had the fish and chips and loved it. The dill sauce that came with it was a little too much for him but I thought it was great with my fries! I also had a Long Island Iced Tea and it was very tasty. I thought the style of the place was very cute too. They use mason jars for the drinks and flower vases for water pitchers. And they left the pitcher on the table for us -- very nice touch. They had Christmas bulbs hanging from the ceiling and it was super cute too!
Absolutely love the atmosphere of the place. Romantic, laid back, and beachy. My steak was cooked to perfection, However my fiancé had to send his steak back due to it be over done. Maybe would should put out a disclaimer that he's a lead cook of a fine dining restaurant before we order, he doesn't really let things slide! Other than that, very happy with the place and will definitely return..

Best of many worlds. So many of the restaurants in Poulsbo either are too fancy for children or too cliche to be any fun to eat at. The Loft balances and exists in the tension of being sexy enough for a hot date, but not so swanky that it can't accommodate the kids if you need a family place to eat. I'm also going to get my only complaint out of the way now which is that the music is played a bit loud and was annoying me. The music made it sound kind of like a night club and I'm just not the night club type. Aside from the loud music, the atmosphere is perfect. What can be better than looking out at water on all sides while the sun is setting? The answer is nothing, so order that Margarita or something on tap and settle in for some good food. So the Mr. and I started off the evening with the Jalapeño cheese dip which was fabulous. We split a bowl of the to die for Seafood Chowder. It seriously was some of the best chowder I've ever had. But they don't serve the chowder every single night. I ordered the Seafood Chimichanga and Hubs ordered the Halibut fish and chips. Both were excellent, but it is kind of hard to screw up a fish and chips so I wouldn't brag on it too much. The Seafood Chimichanga, was something tasty and unique. Hubs kept trying to steal more bites if it from me because the flavors were just such a good blend of seafood, spicy, with corn inside that made my taste buds scream "YUM! Give us more!" Seriously going to order this when I go back again. I've also been here for happy hour, and the small plates I tried were the dip, the salmon cakes, and the steak lime tacos and all were great flavors and they have a great selection of drinks on tap. If you find yourself in Poulsbo, my best advice to you is to make your way over to The Loft to enjoy the food, the drinks, the service, and the view.

Something 4 everyone. We ate 4 1st time last night and ver much enjoyed. Plenty of seafood, several veggie options, a couple steaks. Service quite pleasant. 3 different TVs w/different sports watching and, of course, the view. Minimal dessert options only disappointment.
Great views, right on the marina. Large outdoor deck. Tasty food.
Love it. By far the most fun fresh place in the area. The food is amazing, the service cute and personable, and the atmosphere changes according to every situation.
Pretty cool place great view good food and live music later in the evening service is not bad but you may wait if it's busy never enough to bother me
Visiting downtown Poulsbo and looking for a great place to eat? The Loft overlooks Liberty Bay and the marina. Pleasant views, relaxing atmosphere and great tasting food. Located upstairs with a nice outdoor seating area, plenty of space for small or large gatherings. Also Kennedy our server provided 5+ star service.
The service was good and friendly, the food was good. The place is quite run down, although the location is great. Seems like they have all young family members working there.
We went here before my sons wedding in August 2021, I thought the food was great, the staff was very personal and our waitress went out of her way to snap a picture of our memorable dinner, she had to wash her hands and put on rubber gloves before taking our picture as to keep her from passing any germs onto her loved ones. I was impressed. The boys said the beer was really good and the view, wow, overlooking the water, and the sunset, was spectacular. I'll definately come here again when I'm in the area.
I ordered the bacon chedar burguer and this one had a lot of fries, it was good, the Chicken avocado melt was good too. Service was ok, there weren't drinks on the menu that they gave us and they didn't ask us about what drinks we wanted to order.
This is one of my favorite restaurants! The food and service is top notch! Sitting out on the deck is the best and is covered by umbrellas to shade you from the sun so you can enjoy the views of the mountains and Liberty bay!
