Cy's Diner And Deli

It was delicious. This place has apparently been around for a very long time. It's family owned and operated. We even met the old man who owns the place, and he told us that his family came from Italy and opened this restaurant basically as soon as they got here. It definitely tastes authentic and delicious. The leftovers might even be better than the original... 😲 they really take their time with service, and it's not a bad thing. We're so used to getting everything within a certain amount of time and then being out of the restaurant in less than an hour. But this place really let's you sit back and relax and have a delicious meal. It feels wierd at first but its also noce at the same time not feeling rushed or like i have to eat everything right there. It tastes like they make everything right there as it's being ordered. Also, the garlic bread is A++!

Went to this restaurant because it had great reviews. Showed up at 5:30 pm on a Saturday night and from the parking lot could see employees sitting outside the kitchen door doing nothing and talking. Walked past and went in the front door. The place was dark and smelled strange - possibly like it hadn't been cleaned in quiet some time. There was no hostess or any employee at the reception area. The bar room had no employees, then took a look in the dining room and there was no wait staff even though there were patrons. We waited about 5 minutes to see if anyone would acknowledge we were waiting for a table but not one emoyee came through the dining room, bar room, back room or out from the kitchen. We left. The employees were all still outside in the back of the restaurant by the kitchen. They saw us walk in and walk out of the restaurant and not one of them got up to attent to the new customers or the customers already eating. It was bizarre. This restaurant doesn't even deserve the one start we had to give them to post this review. Went to Savona's Trattoria a few blocks away and had a great meal with excellent service....so happy we were never seated at Milanese Italian Restaurant.
