I went to school at Marist so I would always go to Mahoney's right next door at night. It wasn't until recently that I noticed this place during the day and it is absolutely adorable! You walk in and are right away overwhelmed by the amazing smell of bacon and eggs! It is a small place, but it wasn't busy when I went and there are cute little tables that you can sit at. I wasn't hungry so I just got a cappuccino. It was terrible. The terrible cappuccino is not going to stop me from going back to try the breakfast foods, though!

Always a pleasure to support local businesses. When your in the area make sure to stop by The Coffee Bean Cafe right by the train station and Walkway Over the Hudson in Poughkeepsie. Not only is the coffee amazing the food is too! The owner and team are incredible and make this a must stop anytime you’re in the area.

Bizarre experience. I get that it's spring break and child care is difficult, but the owners kids were at our table from the minute we sat down. Piling toys on and around the table while we waited for food. Running up and down the restaurant, and the little girl who couldn't have been over 8 was pouring and drinking COFFEE. After fifteen minutes, they were asked to move their toys so we had room for food but were never asked to let us eat in peace. My four year old thought it was great, but we didn't come to babysit while eating lunch. The cooler was half empty, some things I ordered weren't available, and the food was just okay. We actually packed up our food and left before we had even finished.

Wonderful people. Good breakfast bagels. Quick service. What else could you ask for? Coffee tastes good too!

Stopped in here for the first time, and it's a great place to pass some time before hopping on the train. The food was stellar. All made fresh and very good! However I will say that maybe you should stick to drip if you come here for coffee. If you want an espresso drink, I'd recommend going anywhere else. I'm not sure what their setup is but it seems to be some automatic system, which is decidedly not the best way to make a latte. My drink was sour, flat, and thin. Very disappointed to have paid coffeehouse prices for a machine-made espresso drink, at a place called "the Coffee Bean" no less! I can only hope it was a fluke and that it's usually good.

The Coffee Bean was pretty busy when we went in around 9 on Saturday morning but we were still served quickly and found a place to sit. The owner was there and being conversational with the guests. :) I appreciated that they had Non dairy options for their coffee too!

Not exactly charming. Coffee is prepared with a cheap super-auto machine, so the lattes and espressos are solidly average. Sports tv plays loudly while guys waiting for the train sip coffees under florescent lights.

Check your receipt before you leave and make sure everything is on the menu and priced otherwise you'll be charged twice the amount for the same item you've ordered every morning for the past few months. Called the owner to inform her of the discrepancy she argued that was the correct amount. However she's been the one ringing me up every time I've been there for the same item every morning. Very disappointing! Response to owner Just to be clear I didn't order the avocado toast, I ordered a piece of dry rye toast with a slice of avocado wit no accoutrements as I always do. I've always been charged no more than $6. Even if I ordered to slices at that price you still over charged me.. as for a discount I was unaware I was receiving any type of discount I never asked for one nor did I expect one ..I guess I'm just confused and no I was not satisfied I just did not want to argue over the phone it's not about the money it's the principle....
